NCAA College Baseball - 2025

Kid who pitched for LSU last night is absolute dawg. What a performance.

I love that that is a rule and proper use of it.
We need to talk about this rule, I can’t be down if the pitch in question should have been ball 4 anyway. And that was the situation here.

Here is the pitch we were discussing.

Natural instinct is to curl up as you turn away. It's a defensive reflex. Nothing intentional about it. Horrible call.

Likely the wrong call, but was it a curl or was it a twist to let the ball hit his pad? Grey area for me

On a 3-2 count and the ball is out of the zone, he doesn’t lean in to draw the hit, but is called out. It just feels wrong to me.

Oh, I didn’t notice what the ccount was

I’m watching from a pool today.

Coastal head coach and 1B coach get run in first inning. I'd like to hear what was said.

I agree with this. In the specific moment I thought it was 0-2. But you’re right if it was 3-2 and would have been walk anyway. I did think batter leaned his arm into it and it wasn’t a natural move at time.

And that loads them…

2 run single !!!

Later Morrison…

ESPN instantly regretted the Morrison comparison with Paul Skenes graphic.

Paul Skenes would never…

Through 5… can this be stress free this time?

Ump is charmin soft. Can’t eject a coach in the first inning of a national championship game. Peak #umpshow
