Well yesterday's round could have goner better. It was howling winds and in the 40s and a strange course but I just played generally crappy all day. 44-45.

I may try to right the ship at my home course today~
 
Wicked excited for today, highlight of the year.... quick nine at Stone Meadow. Nothing like a pitch and putt!
 
Looking forwqard to league tonight with @snafu. Always fun to play with friends and I like competitive golf alot.
 
Played much better yesterday....though I didn't score as well as I played. 41-40.

No kidding, Friday league was supposed to start on 4/16. But of course it snowed that day so delayed a week. 4/23 was 15-20 MPH winds with higher gusts. Didn't think it could get worse but this past Friday was even windier! At least it was a little warmer.

Just happy to be out playing after having some elbow work done in mid March.
 
Finally got out for 18 yesterday. I had to bail last 3 18's, due to wife making plans and course slow so only played 13, boiler being replaced and a nice 40 hour straight work stretch. Yesterday did turn really windy for a bit in the afternoon. Played some Green Meadow Jungle and yes the course is still open, not sold yet. Decent round, same ball all day, got of the tee well, short game was a bit rough and greens were freshly aerated which did not help. The course was in decent shape besides the bunkers.
 
Hey, Nor'easters! My wife and I are taking a NE vacation this year, and I might be able to catch a couple rounds, if anyone is interested. I don't plan on bringing my clubs, so I'd need to borrow a set from you. Anyone game? Looks like we'll be in Monroe, ME 7/25-7/27, Meredith NH 7/27-7/29, and Winthrop, MA 7/29-7/31. (Far as I can tell.)
 
I am close to Winthrop and could do something. You could use my sons clubs

Played Indian mound on Friday and The Ledges yesterday. Indian mound was in rough shape greens and rough areas were really rough. The ledges were in great shape, what a nice course. Had 6 pars on first 7 holes. The rest was still good but not that good. Ended up with an 85. Took 3 wood off tee way more than ever before and it was beneficial

Well, the prime reason is my wife wanted to see a concert in Guilford, MA. So we decided to make a week long trip out of it and drive up to see Steven King's house, as well as a trip to Martha's Vineyard, where I worked a few summers while in college.
