I have to say, the Kirkland Signature 3.0 golf ball has truly exceeded my expectations. I had no intentions of "gaming" a Kirkland ball as I wasn't impressed with previous releases. I really am that "play what I find" guy. Thankfully, it is almost always ProV1s, TP5s, or Chrome Softs. So I am very used to playing premium options. I enjoy them all and none of them are better than the others for me. They all make birdies the same. They all find the water the very next hole. I happened to find a Kirkland V3 the other day and thought why not?
I ended playing the Kirkland I found for close to 40 holes over 3 rounds and the durability of the urethane cover blew me away. My experience has been no loss of distance off the tee while still maintaining excellent control on approaches and around the greens. What really stands out to me is the feel and spin of this ball - it's comparable, if not better, than some of the more premium golf balls I mentioned earlier. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn't lose any spin compared to a popular high-end ball like the ProV1 when tested by multiple YouTubers and other outlets. This level of performance consistency is impressive, especially considering the difference in price point.
Overall, I highly recommend the Kirkland Signature 3.0 golf ball to any golfer looking for a high-quality option that won't break the bank. Its combination of distance, control, feel, and spin make it a standout choice on the market today. And let's be honest, $5 per ball starts to hurt in today's economy.
While I don't consider any golf ball my "gamer", the KSig defintely won me over and I will be putting them into play until I see a reason not to. Not to mention, how many more reviews do we really need on all the other "premium" options out there?
