Brees needs to be in a tier up here.

As a Giants fan, I would put Eli at a franchise hero level. He did some wonderful things and helped revitalize the team during his run, but that's splitting hairs.

I hate Brady and think he is a giant D Bag, but his place is not wrong on football field accomplishments

I also agree with bumping up Drew Bres @JDax when you take everything into account, and the Post-Katrina run he did it when it needed to be done, and cemented himself

Drew Brees above Elway and Marino is funny stuff. next up in a bag of tricks we hear about perfect english coming out of LSU WRs

Mahomes needs to go up 1... Elway needs to go up 2. Rodgers can come down.

It’s not terrible though, they definitely need to swap Elway for Brees.

I actually thought the rest is pretty accurate. I'm a big Elway guy though. Guy was way ahead of his time.

I'd put Flacco in franchise heroes as well. He had one of the best postseasons of all time during their sb run. Also tied the record with Tom Brady for most playoff wins on the road with 7.

100% swap Elway for Brees. That's not even close.

I agree Elway should be in a tier higher, but the swap isn’t with Brees.

If this happens, @JDax take wouldn’t be the same, which is why it’s false haha

One of the great sliding door moments in NFL history. Also, if Miami doctors sign off on it, he would have been in Miami. Decision had nothing to do with him wanting to be part of something bigger and wanting ot rebuild NO.

For sure. He is full of ****.
it’s just hysterical to me that the entire take is based on him playing for the favorite team because if he goes to Miami, my man @JDax doesn’t own the Brees cheerleader gear

🥲

I will say I don't think Brees becomes a HOFer if he chooses Miami. He has a solid 10+ year career and is a long-term starter. But he needed Payton as much as vice versa.

And if Brees goes to Miami, Saban doesn’t bolt to Alabama, and the Saints don’t win a Championship, but LSU probably wins 2-3 more.

It’s a big what if for both of my teams.

For sure. I just don't think Saban turns him into a HOFer. I think it turns out well. Just not as well as Brees and Payton.

Chambers was a pretty good WR in Miami. Ronnie Brown was decent. They didn't have much on offense. Plus, with Brees being a system guy he definitely benefited from playing under Payton.

Yeah, I only think it from the counting stats perspective. I think Saban would have cut his stats by 15-20%. It isn't even that Brees is a worse player under Saban. Just think his career stats look very different.

Where are you originally from? You’ve got to many LA ties. 😂

There were those years where the Saints didn’t have a great defense, Saban would have had better defenses.

We didn't have a defense until Drew's arm was a shadow of its former self. Sure they created a lot of TOs in 09 but outside of that they weren't very good that year either.

Brees in Miami would have still been good but I don't believe he would have been anything like he was with Sean.
