It's a matter of time, before someone puts the energy returning tech from the Nike Vaporfly style shoes into a pair of golf shoes. AFAIK, there's no regulations that govern the technology in shoes and the relative "performance". Given the energy returning technology here, could this create an unbalanced playing field (as Nike is accused of doing in running)? At what point are we overly micromanaging tech?
