It’s not as enjoyable as one might think… at least not until that lottery lol. I’ve been here for six months already and have played most of what is public and a couple of the private ones also. Still waiting on the invite to the big two!

Danville. So towards east bay. I work in Sunnyvale.
What courses in the Danville region would you recommend? I've played Poppy Ridge, Wente and many rounds in Fairfield but don't know any of the great local courses in that area. I'm in Santa Rosa...

Lots of private courses out that way and in between.
San Ramon has a few courses but are either gimicky/challenging or not worth the money. The one most talk about is Bridges Golf Club.
More north of Danville there's Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek. Fun track with elevation changes and challenging greens.
If you're going to come out to the east bay, there's always Corica Park in Alameda.

I play most of my rounds at San Ramon or Canyon Lakes just because they are right next to my house. I held up to Benicia and play Blue Rock Springs pretty frequently.
@Joshnoble01 We have a skins game every saturday/sunday over at blue rock if interested.

I definitely would. Really enjoy playing there. One of my buddies lives in Dixon so it is a pretty good split for us. But I am in for that. When is the next one?
@Joshnoble01 This weekend. I'll get an update tomorrow on how many spots are open. It ranges from 8-24 people
Man I used to live in this thread. I am a ways off from most that are still in here( south of Fresno), but I used to make the run up to Seaside about once a month or so to play with Mr.Hicksta when he was stationed over there.

As much as I can. I ran an event back in February where I broke the differential and driveshaft, and it's taken some time to source parts and get everything back in the condition I wanted. Now I'm just waiting for it to cool off before I start beating on it again. But she's all ready to go!

Really good. Been playing a lot. Some decent golf after a horrendous Winter. Looking like I am going to go do some golfing with Hicksta during Labor Day Week around Colorado and a couple of neighboring states.
