Let the annual fun begin THP!!! Time to get the 2024 Holiday Secret Gift Exchange rolling!!!
@KY Golfer has graciously offered to assist me again this year so he will be receiving all PMs regarding the actual shipping (confirmations, updates, questions, delays, etc.) of your gift(s) as stated in 6 and 7 below. The initial PM with your mailing address, etc. (#3 below) is to be sent to me.
For those that have not participated previously, this is a secret gift exchange. You will not know who sent you your gifts. @KY Golfer and I will be the only ones that know who is sending who gifts because somebody has to organize and manage the joy and we know how to keep secrets.
Please read the following information carefully and completely prior to sending me a PM. Sending me a forum PM is the only way for you to be added to the list to participate. Just saying in this thread that you are “in” will not actually get you in.

Once again, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the information you PM me is complete and accurate. In the past I have proofread yout PMs and questioned anything I wasn't sure about. I will not have time to do that this year. They will simply be filed away and copy and pasted in a PM to your assigned Secret Santa so any address or sizing mistakes you make in your PM will go to your SS.

The goal this year is to have at least 120 participants and for this thread to reach at least 175 pages! The totals last year were 102 participants and 140 pages so were should easily achieve these modest increases.

- If you would like to participate, please send me a PM through the THP forum no later than Friday, November 15, 2024 at 6 p.m. EST. This is a hard deadline as I will begin drawing the recipient matches very soon after the deadline and will send out your assigned recipient’s information no later than 11/17/24. * Due to the cost and hassle of international shipping (both ways), we generally limit this gift exchange to US and Canada only. Sorry international friends.
- In your PM to me, please include your forum name and full shipping address, complete with your real name. Please make sure your information is complete and accurate because the PM you send me will be copied and pasted into a PM to your assigned Secret Santa. For you that are experienced in life like I am, you will probably recognize the old computer term GIGO (garbage in garbage out). Add the items in #4 below to this PM if you so desire. - It's a lot of fun searching through member posts trying to find out what they like but if you want to include the following information in your PM to me (after forum name and full mailing address), I can pass it along to your Secret Santa:
- Glove Size
- Hat Size
- Shirt Size
- Short and/or Pant Size
- Shoe Size
- RH or LH
- *** Inclusion of this information does not guarantee that you will receive any of the items associated with this information.
- As a general rule of thumb, gift(s) you send should be valued at a minimum of $25. You can spend more if you like, but it's completely up to you.
- All packages need to be shipped no later than December 16th. The deadline date and my communication to you of your gift recipient's information will allow about 4 weeks of shopping. If you encounter a problem and have to send it a little later than that, please PM @KY Golfer so he can let your gift recipient know that there will be a delay in them receiving their gift(s).
- Please PM @KY Golfer the shipping tracking information, or just a PM stating when your items were shipped, as the confirmation that you have sent out your gift(s).
- You MUST post a picture or video in this thread of what you receive so we can all enjoy the reactions and your SS will know their efforts were well appreciated! If you are unwilling to do this, please do not sign up to participate.
