Odyssey dual force 990 refurb

I have an old odyssey dual force 990 that I’m looking at refurbing. This is a putter that holds a lot of sentimental value to me, as it’s the last remaining piece of golf equipment in my bag from my late grandfather who passed away last year. As a first time refurb, are there any tips or pearls anyone has to share? Good resources to use? Do’s and dont’s? Thanks in advance!
