Odyssey Golf, another example of a highly successful company that started in a garage, is celebrating an impressive milestone in 2025. They’ve been the number one putter brand on Tour for 25 years. In a game as fickle and as prone to chasing trends as golf, this is an incredibly difficult achievement and speaks directly […]

Cool looking putters. The insert sounds interesting, I've liked both the TH5K and Ai-One inserts and this sounds like a combination of the two. I'll definitely give one of these a try when I find one in the store, I liked the S2S concept but wasn't comfortable with the forward shaft lean in this year's models. It sounds like I wasn't the only one and they've worked on improving in that regard.

hello Jailbird. Visually you win though I like all 3

Great writeup @Hawk. Really interested to hit one and feel all of that forward CG. Just watched the video on the Callaway site as well. If it rolls with the speed consistency they're boasting, it's going to be another winner.

Not sure , iam a bright multi colour fan ..on putter ,,, the calmer colour , helps focus
lol

But they looks like Ferraris👍🏻👍🏻 and imagine , the are just as highly performed😁😁😁

For me this may be the best Odyssey release in a very long time.

I want to see the red in person. It’s different from what I have gamed in the past. I like the Jailbird cover the best of the group. Can’t see me using the cruiser.

This sentence makes me happy:

“The result is a zero torque putter that feels easier to aim, appears less unusual to the eyes, and doesn’t require a special grip.”

Definitely going to have my wife try out a 7 as unfortunately it appears is the only model available in left handed! Too bad because hoping the full lineup would be offered in a LH version.

Otherwise looks like there are some improvements and lessons learned from last year’s model.

This was me. When I tried them in store it just felt weird. That being said this insert has me intreagued and moving the shaft forward sounds like something I need to try.

@Hawk I think the prices in your article are off. Website shows $100 more. Unless the website is wrong.

I love a good putter tech story. This has it, for sure. Very excited for this release. Will reread this article a number of times today.

I loved how the Odyssey line always stood out on the TV screen with the red shafts. You knew instantly watching that it was an Odyssey. While this doesn’t have the red shaft, the color scheme on the head will cause that same effect.

Great write-up @Hawk

Very interesting in how moving some weight allowed them to move the hosel making the need for so much forward press less of an issue. Will be interesting to see these in person. Not sure I love the red but will take a look.

Great write-up @Hawk - I definitely want to give these a shot. The insert sounds like the real deal.

Love the more forward shaft. And the red sure does pop against a green

Yeah, I may need to get one of the Rossie ones as that is still my favorite putter shape. The insert changes are exciting. It would be interesting to see if it cleans up the start of the roll a bit. I always felt my S2S jailbird did not get the role started as well as some of my milled face putters or the DLT putters like Cobra and LA Golf.

I really like tht crossbar sight line too

Oh hell yeah... Been waiting for this article. Looks wise... Home Run.

"The end effect is a stroke that feels balanced, more natural, and consistent." - Yes Please. Give me some of that FRD groove.

Cool to see the softer layer of the insert drip into the firmer layer on the bottom of the putter.

@Hawk great article. Is the Black PVD SL120 shaft a version of Stroke Lab? Or does that SL have another meaning?

I thought for sure that when we get fit next month I would want a #7 style head. Now seeing that Jailbird version of these.. I'm not so sure. I play a Jailbird now but the red/black combo here is so friggin' good.

The red and black is so so good!
