Odyssey S2S Tri-Hot Putters

Agree with this.. my biggest struggle putting going into GD was lag putting as I didn’t have great distance control. Maybe it’s confidence w/ this putter but I seemed to be pretty good w/ that @ The Hideaway. I don’t really remember any getting away and a decent amount kicked back to me. That’s always a good feeling.
I'm not sure any of us had a 3 putt on singles day, except for me on hole 1 when I thought our caddie was giving me a read and I hit the putt that he was reading for Gary.

Did you go through a few putters in your fitting?
No I tried a lot to see what felt good or caught my eye but the actual fitting part I only tried the Cruiser.
When the numbers came out as good as they did we agreed that the putter would work really well for me.

I’m still kicking myself for not getting a picture of the data!

May actually have time to get to the local shop Saturday to roll one of these.

Anyone see what putter Ryan McCormack tossed in the pond on 18 at Sawgrass. Looked like the STS Rossie, i think he should be shot.

A very dangerous move for the wallet
Maybe. I am thankful that I am only in a position of looking at the moment. Several other priorities need to happen first and foremost.

Fair warning - you may come away with a new putter 😂

Because the S2S works so well. Hit it right on the line. The line was just about a foot to the right of the cup.

That was a really poor putting stroke

These grabbed my attention right away. I loved the EXO line and these have that same vibe to me.
As a lefty, are you ok with a #7 shape, or wish there was another shape offered for lefties? I know @LeftyGolferWI mentioned wanting to try a Rossie shape in the past.

I wish I could try a lefty JB Cruiser…

I mean of course I'd like that all of them were available in LH, but that's not the reality. We make up a very small market and unless that changes we roll with it. I'm far past the point of being disappointed in RH only clubs. I get it and understand that it's not feasible so while it's nice or appreciated when more are, I am more than happy to work with the styles or shapes currently available.

The face doesn’t feel or play hot for me. For me, hot implies a level of speed that is unexpected and not controlled. The speed and distance control has been stellar with the Tri-Hot.

I don’t consider it hot, I consider it efficient.

In all my years of reviewing, hot, when it comes to a putter has always been a much more springy firm feedback, like the ball jumps off. Here, it’s not that, it’s efficient, quick, true, and that efficiency equates to easier distance, even with a softer feel.
These are great thoughts. My lag putting with the 7 has been getting better and better. With the new S2S 7 I am not leaving myself super short at all anymore. Everything bout this new putter is excellent. I have not owned a putter that the ball rolled so well off the face before.

Boy, that’s a breath of fresh air take!
