Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 253. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Mike Yagley from Cobra Golf joins the show to discuss 3D Printing of golf clubs and the future of creation.

It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and the Mike team dive into many topics including whether or not this is the biggest innovation in golf since the solid core golf ball. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as 3D Printing of golf clubs goes Off Course.

Episode 253 is here and Dan and Mike Yagley discuss the following topics.

How 3D Printing is Evolving Over Time
The Reaction of All Skill Levels Testing 3DP Tour
Is 3D Printing clubs one of the Biggest Innovation Leaps Ever
Future Material Potential and Where 3DP Tour Benefits Most
And so much more

You can listen to the show right here, Apple Podcasts or anywhere you do your listening and downloading from. Search for the Hackers Paradise and make sure to subscribe so you never miss an episode. After listening, come back over and drop us a note below on what you agree and/or disagree with from the episode. If you get a chance, drop us a review wherever you listen from and let others know what you think of the show and/or channel.

Off course is now available in video as well. Tune into the THPGolf YouTube Channel, jump into the video and watch the interaction between Dan and his guests each week rather than just listen.

I will be watching today on YouTube, such an interesting Tech. 1st Houses, now Clubs.

Must watch this one, so that brain doesn't overload from trying to understand just by listening. And also tobsee Yags lean in and whisper a golden nugget for Daniel.

Yags and Daniel, what a pair

Listening now, will go back and watch later. Love hearing @Master Yagley explain stuff and him paired with Daniel is amazing.

OH MY...."We are going to make the 3DP irons better...."

Love this. I know that is always the goal, but how, what does better look like for these irons? Can't wait to find out.

A must watch today for sure. Always interested in hearing and learning more from Yags about 3d printing and its future.

3D printing just might be. Read an article about 3D printing is being used to make rocket engines. That is, 3D printing is being used to make engines that take men and women into outer space. If they can do that they should be able to build an awesome golf club!

I'm sure it is when it comes to innovation design but all that time and effort they put in to make these irons doesn't for one minute will make them out perform any of there other big OEM's out there. It's pretty cool that they do it but for the time it takes you are the one paying for all of that time and effort

This will be a must watch. Can’t wait for the fun and info.

Is this going to just leave me jonesing for the 3DP Tour irons again?

This whole concept is just mind-blowing and I'm loving the conversation.

I can’t to listen to this today. Additive manufacturing is not caught up enough to be the next biggest thing. The technology is just not there yet in any form other than prototyping or very expensive “production”. I say this in the nicest way possible, because manufacturing and prototyping is the world I live in daily with no marketing hype. Do I want the cobra printed irons…. Oh for sure! Is it right up there with sliced bread as the next best thing…… not yet.

I can appreciate not wanting to listen to the podcast, but I do find it a bit weird to change the question posed from being a significant innovation leap to "the next best thing" which I think are two very different things.

Another great episode, can’t wait to see what improvements they make from different materials. Super exciting tech

Feel like there's always some extra special nuggets dropped in when @Master Yagley is on...really excited for this one!

This will be a good one!

What is this logic based on?

Moving 33% of the total material weight from the center of the club to the perimeter in order to increase MOI will ABSOLUTELY have an impact on MOI and outperform a single block forging on imperfect strikes.

lmao, NOW I get it!

Looking forward to your feedback on the show.

Yags always delivers! I want to go hit the irons now…funny how YAG’s enthusiasm has that effect regardless of the product being discussed.

I compare this to any of those internet personalities that were saying the FF33 was way too complicated before they even tried to understand how it works.
