Off Course – Is 3D Printing One of the Biggest Innovation Leaps?

I compare this to any of those internet personalities that were saying the FF33 was way too complicated before they even tried to understand how it works.
completely agree with this. I havent gotten the 3DP Tour's out on course yet, but I can say in the simulator they are dramatically more forgiving than the Mizuno Pro 243's i played all last year and said are the best irons ive ever played

Calling Yags for my Big Gulp and Pork Rinds fix....

I want to know more about the interest in high level and professional golf.

Was also super interesting to hear Yags talk about how it was "not trivial" when talking about how to use 3D printing in the larger game improvement section as it is a different challenge due to the hollow body construction. Will always be super interested in hearing Yags talk about club design and cannot wait to see what Cobra has in store for the future of 3D printing as I was one who hit Yag's irons at the 24 Morgan Cup and couldn't wrap my head around how well I was hitting that tiny iron.

Going to give a listen this afternoon! I think i've been on the Cobra and Callaway seem to have best R&D bandwagon for a while. Between Callaway 3D printing more prototypes than ever possible and the Limit3d irons and printed putters they are on the cutting edge. I think pushing boundaries with metallurgy in the Ti Fusions and the Cleveland wedges are impressive as well. I'll save the rest until after I get to the episode

You gotta get these out on a real course! I think it’s going to really put into context how forgiving these and how much you can get away with.

Great listen @Canadan cant wait to see what Cobra has in mind regarding expansion of 3d printed irons for the future.

Oh boy this is going to be a fun episode!!

As always...Fun.17474061248264814716500185497406.jpg

I will give this a listen on the way to play in the rain today. 3D printing is so interesting to me but afraid of it at the same time. I guess its just fear of what my little brain doesn't fully grasp material wise

YES! I’m about to dive in!

Every second @Master Yagley talks about the 3DP Tour makes me want a set. I just wish I could fork out the dough for it. I have a set close by that I could just pick up.

I could listen to Yags and Daniel all day long.

lmao, the Daniel thing is real, eh?

I have to go run this afternoon. Need to do about 6 miles. This will be perfect for that run.

excited to give this a listen on the way home today!

Good show today!

Really hoping the Gary Woodland 3DP MBs make it to retail.

I just finished this.

@Canadan it was one of my absolute favorites.

Hearing @Master Yagley wax poetic about the processes and the performance was absolutely fun….not to mention thinking about the future is even more exciting.

It also makes me immediately want to put my Limit3d back in the bag. They’re truly the best irons I’ve ever owned or had played.

I know it's your job to play a bunch of different stuff, but it absolutely blows my mind that you have a set of Limit3D and you're not playing them! I can give them a good home for the duration :ROFLMAO:

Well, they’re not my Morgan Cup irons hahahaha

If I could play them in the MC though, I would without hesitation!

I know! But didn't you have to shelve them even before that for some review? Or do I remember it all wrong?

Nah, they’ve been my go to for months, even when testing other irons, these were still in the bag. Just spectacularly good.
