Official Rant of the Day

Does she eat fries with a fork too? Those people freak me out.
Hey now, let's not get personal. 😉
As long as Knives aren't involved.
P.S I hope you Folks are taking notes for next year's Event, otherwise she'll give you the Stinkeye

Ahhh I've been tasked with picking up groceries on the way home from work. Thankfully it's just a pickup but even still hahah.

I just got tasked with picking up a 5-drawer dresser on the way back from m golf practice session 😵‍💫

She pours it in a glass!!!!!!!

And what's wrong with that? Any carbonated beverage, including beer, should be poured in a glass to release some of the carbonation so it doesn't blow up in your stomach! Drinking directly from the bottle or can used to be a sign of low station and lack of discretion. But, we're Americans and what do we know?

I do the grocery shopping in our house...and enjoy it.

Enjoy it? No. But wife has difficulty walking so I do it. I will say walking on Cement floors at Walmart and BJs puts a hurt on my Back.

Yep, sure do. I have my list and away I go. I use Walmart+ to have non perishables delivered but I like actually walking the aisles at Aldi. Meijer and Walmart is a strict get what's on the list and get out situation.

Similarly- I do the shopping in our house as well- headed there this evening matter of fact. To your point, I enjoy it as well- have my list and away we go. I get what I want and can't complain about anything not being there that I've wanted/needed.

I usually do the shopping as well. I have the list in my Notes app usually in aisle order. I have to go often enough for fruit that some of the workers know me now

Don't you detest it when Walmart changes their Isles? My orderly list goes down the Drain. Like walking up to Tee that you've played day after day with Club you know you need...and find a Hazzard that wasn't there before. 😞

That's one of the reasons I avoid my local Walmart. No matter how often I go I still have no idea where anything is lol. Give me my Giant Eagle where the aisles have been the same for the 10 years I've been shopping there.

Not after next year when they all become Krogers. :ROFLMAO:

Seems like they’re copying what Costco does more and more. All a ploy to get you to wander and grab things you aren’t there to get.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard, “That wasn’t on the list…”

You didn't hear that Kroger bought them?

Looking a bit more, at this stage they say nothing will change...until it does.
I heard. I'm just in the denial phase because I don't want to lose my bougie Market District

I am noted for my paranoia of needles. And I do mean paranoia...there is absolutely nothing normal nor reasonable about my reaction to needles.

my wife loves to tell about the time she took me to a packed ER because my heart rate had dropped so far, they bump me to front of line, bring over the crash cart, I am so out of it I know none of this, but apparently when the guy went to stick the IV in I was fighting it so hard he literally climbed on the gurney and knelt on my arm so he could get the IV on...

all while the heart rate was well under 30 bpm

I say that to say this...dentist visits are...unpleasant for me. Last time I had to have a root canal redone, they gave me some relaxing pill that most people are fine with one, the really bad cases get 2. It took 4 for me.

Yesterday had to have more work done and they decided 3 was enough.

Spoiler alert; it wasn't...they kept reminding me to breath, I sweated through my clothes, my fingers hurt today from how hard I was gripping them...

and this is my fault for lack of self-control...just found out I was moving enough that some of the work needs redone.

Someone is not happy at this particular moment.

They say right now that nothing will change, including the market districts. Which is a shame because the Tallmadge GE looks like it was tired in the 80's. It's such a badly designed store.

Ours was bad as well until they tore down and rebuilt the whole shopping center.

Hanging around THP you tend to take certain things for granted which apparently aren't available everywhere. About a month ago I helped one of the guys in my golf group get into a DS-Adapt driver using the FF33 adapter to help offset his slice. So one of the other guys decided he wanted a helping driver too and went to our local chain golf store where they were advertising the DS-Adapt on special for $399.00.

Fast forward to Saturday when I finally get to see him and I notice he's not hitting the new driver on the first hole. "Hate it, it's in the van" was his response "Oh and you can't adjust the loft either". Alarm bells start going off in my head. So after the round I look at it, and sure enough he bought last year's Darkspeed which was $349. I feel bad for him, so I go to the retailer's website to look for a satisfaction guarantee, which I find (or so I thought). He sent me a text earlier today that he went into the store to inquire and they offered him $225 in trade which he declined. It turns out their satisfaction guarantee only applies if they fit you to the club.

We have an alternate online-only source that offers a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. I will be promoting them moving forward. This online source may or may not be part of an awesome golf equipment company we all love; our national chain can go pound salt IMO

If I can smell you from more than 6 feet away you needed a shower days ago 🤮
