Consistently T-20...ish
Scheduled a meeting and the person in my company giving the presentation was 15 min late and I had to keep my customer occupied with my terrible jokes and stories. ??

How about the classic: "If we don't call you in three days, everything is fine."When the doctor needs to put a referral into a specialist, it'd be nice if they called you the same/next day... It's as if they have no idea what momentary panic you may be going through
“Don’t worry it’s harmless”. Ok, so I’ll see you in 30 minutes and let’s get this behind us.How about the classic: "If we don't call you in three days, everything is fine."
How about you call me either way so I dont hit day four wondering if I'm dying and you just forgot break the news.
Didn’t know where to post this. Maybe if there is a neurologist on the board or someone has had a fam member go through this can provide some ideas.
Over the last week or so my 15 year old niece has been having nausea, and is a bit weak, but wasn’t extremely dehydrated. Then the day before Thanksgiving the fam started noticing short term memory loss. Big things like not remembering at all having gone to the movies to see Frozen, anything she had done the day before, etc. A lack of neurologists due to the holiday hasn’t helped. Ct scan came back clean. Mri (best they could do given she has braces) also clean. This am she woke up vomiting and has been back to the hospital.
Blood work looks normal. Her TSH is in a normal range. Just can’t pin point what’s causing this. At least this week neurologists will be back, but it’s real scary.
Glad to hear this has been diagnosed and its not anything more serious! Actually, my younger son was diagnosed with a much more mild type of seizure which over time he outgrew. Hopefully, this is something that over time she will be able to stop the medications and get back to normal. She was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy and is starting on some meds. Hopefully in a couple of days we start seeing improvement. @Stemmy66 - the eeg helped confirm the neurologist’s suspicion.
All things considered, it could have been much worse, but for now just hoping the meds provide a return to some type of normalcy. Obviously hasn’t been able to go to school or really have much of a life outside doctor’s visits and hospital stays.
Not that the milk was spilled.... I mean it wasn’t my shoe ? but more of why the hell has Wawa come so correct in Florida?? ? Jealous none are in CaliforniaKarma for giving @Snickerdog the nickname Milk Fetish in the Grandaddy. Today we stopped to get coffee at Wawa and someone dropped a cup of milk all over my shoes and pants.

I fell down earlier today. Slipped on the floor and landing on my ankle wrong, hip and tried to brace myself with my hand. Not good.
Two fingers appear to be in rough shape, making it harder to type and do day to day tasks and my ankle will be fine, but sore as heck.
Getting old is never easy.
Hope it’s just age ‘soreness’ ? and nothing more serious! Easy to break things when bracing a fall.....I fell down earlier today. Slipped on the floor and landing on my ankle wrong, hip and tried to brace myself with my hand. Not good.

Doubtful that happens, I’m sure she’s done the math that shows you’re worth more to her alive.... ?. Looking forward to welcoming baby Chef into the world! In anticipation of our new addition to the family any day my wife is off of work until February..........hopefully she doesnt shank me with all this together time.
I slipped on a wet railroad tie that was along a cart path in plastic spiked shoes, and it was my shoulder that ended up hurting the most from flailing my arms trying to regain my balance.I fell down earlier today. my right arm is so bad right now, I could barely pick up a pair of shoes this morning.
what’s going on?
Something has been messed up with my right forearm/elbow/lower bicep for a a good chunk of the year. I’m stubborn and don’t want to get it looked at for fear of what it is. But I am really shocked how much strength I’ve lost with it lately. If I spread my fingers out and go to grab something, it has to be super light. Last week I put together a dresser and had to do deal with a bunch of screws, that sucker swelled up and made me look like Pat Perez.
