[Release]

They have several blocks of downtown Wilmywood blocked off for filming the new Halloween movie. Just makes my commute harder since they also closed River Rd for 6 months starting today!

The City had charged fees for permit and police escort road sign and other fees. An economic move ?
Not considering the hardship for the commuting citizens since there is another closure near by..... is probably worth a letter to the City Council Members ?

@Alez367 Ha well I hit maybe 10 good shots all day and that was one, along with the shot on the contest par 3. My golf game is backwards. I pure my long irons and random shots like that and shank wedges hha.

Had a guy came up and told me that he had bought a new driver. He's been complaining of losing driver distance over the last year ( qualified for the age of medicare ). He also complained about his wife's long term ailment and economic depression ( like most of the middle class family ) over the last year.
But he spend more on the new driver........when I thought he has concerns for economic well being.
I was going to tell him the new equipment is not going to be a magical cure for his golf game, but considering the golf game is his only outlet to release some of the stress he had been experiencing over the last few years.
I won't burst his bubbles now, at least he'll be happy and hopeful awhile before he'll face the truth , which he knew already.
Sometimes, a little white lie will make time goes by easier. Even when the truth is staring at you.

Went to my garage to my golf locker, just looking, and noticed something was out of place. Kept looking and then I remembered that I had a dozen of PV1 sitting on top of my locker and they were gone. Asked my wife if she'd mess with them (her trying to straighten things), and she didn't. Kept looking and looking and finally deduced that they were lifted sometime within the past week. Had 2 items delivered by FedEx this week but I'm not going to call simply because I have no proof it was the FedEx guy. Whoever it was, it takes balls(not the PV1 kind) to go into a garage and lift them. Kind of bummed but lesson learned even if it's on your property.

And here I thoght it was safe. I have clubs and about everything else in there. Going to have to rethink this. I really don't want to have a lock.

That sucks man. I leave my garage open so much and probably shouldn’t. Although my buddy (literally across the street) is always in his garage and Vice versa.

i need some sleep. i feel like i haven't gotten a full night's sleep in a couple weeks. between being out of town, a dog that is getting up multiple times a night, and kids that all of a sudden can't stay in their beds all night, i'm considering moving into a hotel lol

Soft spikes don't work in the rain!! I found that out the hard way over the weekend. Slipped about 4 times during the downswing & it wasn't even raining that hard. Never will I wear the soft spike Sketchers in the rain. They might be comfortable but lack in the sole department.

I actually have those ice balls in the freezer, I always forget I have them before I pour myself a drink

I do not like clients who want certain things to resolve a dispute with another and after I get that for them, they then decide it is not enough and they must have more before they can agree.

I'm sure I had a good reason for going to law school 32 years ago but, whatever it was, it has long since been beaten out of me.

Solution is to make partnership or obtaining a corporate client, and let the young kids handle the fuzzy stuff. All you'll have to worried about then, would be how drunk you'll get for the day...

Seriously, people wouldn't understand why certain profession gets paid better than the average. They don't see it the way those handling their "garbage" for them.
Keep your chin up, think of the moments when you like doing what you do. You're just a little tired and need a short vacation, soon, some place warm and with a golf course.

Hang in there, kids will grow up before you will notice. The dog is probably getting aged and won't bother you for too long.
Traveling is tough, there are ways to handle it but, each of us will have different requirement.

Snowing, again. But that's not the rant. I have a lot of fun with frozen water. Drivers in the snow, however, is a HUGE rant for me. It's like they see the snow and forget how to drive. The driving experience during early snow storms LITERALLY reminds me of the demolition derby competitions I would watch as a teen.

Addition: Well this snow might get under my skin if my power keeps going off. This is really early for this much snow. Trees still have leaves and can't handle the load. If drivers don't take out power lines, the trees might.

Reminder: The good side of snow. I need this reminder today.

California "Public Safety" power outages compliments of PG&E (with a major assist from the idiots that run this state). Winds were howling at the house this morning at a whopping 1 to 3 mph, so they shut the power off around 3:00 AM, and will likely be out for 2 to 3 days .....................

Not a true rant, but I wonder what has been going on in the area these last couple of weeks

Last week I saw a motorcycle embedded in the side of a car whilst on my way to work
Yesterday there were 2 fatal accidents in my town - early reports are one of them was someone who had a heart attack behind the wheel and crashed in to a tree and nobody else was involved, but the other involved 5 vehicles and closed the main road to the town all day
Then I have just heard from a friend of mine who sent me a link to a local report saying there has been another accident that has closed a road I travel to and from work, so unless it is opened later I will have to take a detour home again
