Want to use this to answer any questions on OPUS and OPUS platinum. I'll check in here from time to time:) In the meantime, enjoy the pics from the TOUR

Was there a feel you wanted to develop or refine in this release compared to the JAWS?

Also spin improvements in wet conditions was a big thing recently, so you have any data on what the face treatment has done for this release?

If someone is currently playing the Callaway CB wedges, but wants to go to something more traditional in the Opus line, what would you recommend?

Yes we wanted the feel to be less clicky than Jaws Raw was. Def got there with Opus. In regards to data we have some preliminary data but will most likely continue to gather more. Thus far the new grooves have evolved that aspect quite a bit. Spinniest wedge I've seen

What grind do you think will be most popular on tour?

What finish?

Can you talk about how you make it less clicky?

Also the W grind on the 50* seems like it was meant for higher caps. What’s the turf interaction like on that one?

Oh my word that was good information and laid down well. Enjoyed the progression of the line and how so many wanted it from the beginning stages. Can't wait to see some in hand reviews here!

Anything feedback from initial users/testers of adjustments they have had to make? Such as getting used to the spin, distances, or turf interaction?

Thanks for doing this!

Curious about the grind availability with the Platinum being only S and Z. I’m guessing that testing and maybe the different tech whittled it down to just the two?

I know these were tested and developed with feedback from Tour players. But can you speak to how the design of the Opus and Opus Platinum will benefit the average golfer?

Haven't been able to read through the entire page yet, but in the video, hearing how the hosel was elongated to help bring up CG was cool.

Thanks for the info and enjoyed the pod that covered picking a wedge/bounce. Nice foreshadowing by the way :ROFLMAO:

Love your thought process on fitting ball/wedge as most important. Just wish there were more options around that allowed for outdoor fitting vs the indoor stuff going here locally.

What did you throw in your bag from a wedge perspective knowing you like to open up the face and play varying shots? I'll need to go the opposite haha.

Do you have any fun stories from the Tour Pros during testing? At what point in the iteration process did they start asking to put one in play?

Hey Johnny! Is there any particular wedge game aspect pros are seeing significant improvements in from the opus? Like around the greens, certain lies, certain distances, etc?

What do you feel sets Opus apart from previous Callaway wedge lines?

Id start with the W grind in OPUS

Shape (simple/traditional) is far better and the grooves are insane.

A lot of it is the shape and the grooves. Players feel its more pleasing to the eye in all positions and the grooves are noticeably nastier.

I have my TCB AW, 54/12.5S and 58W

Since most wedges dont pack in the performance benefits of say a driver or irons, you have to then focus on the feel (responsivness) and grind options. Even a high handicapper can dial in strong short game technique. OPUS is a classic, simple design with nasty grooves and a REALLY high CG

Most everyone has been plug and play

Im sure it will expand as we go but yes those two grinds were the best starting points for Platinum based on testing

Not sure how they made it less clicky as that's a feel thing and some may disagree with me. The W grind has a wide sole so good for players that are a bit steeper at impact.

How come the platinum wedges only have 2 grinds available? Would love the T grind in the Opus Platinum

How hard was it to disguise these in Xander and other Tour pros bags during testing?
