Would the benefits of going Opus Platinum be more noticeable in a high lofted or lower lofted wedge?

I'm hoping Xander has at least one blue in the bag for the Olympics. He's already got the red putter, and chrome can be considered white in this case, right? What finish are the tour guys are leaning towards? Anyone putting the blue in the bag?

Red? Has to be Xander‘s new wedge if that happens lolOoooo……how about a red version Opus plus the chrome and blue? That would be amazing.
How come the platinum wedges only have 2 grinds available? Would love the T grind in the Opus Platinum
Im sure it will expand as we go but yes those two grinds were the best starting points for Platinum based on testing
Raw and C or SWhat grind do you think will be most popular on tour?
What finish?
WWhich grind will be easiest to get out of a greenside bunker?
Probably 52-56 due to the very high CG. The ball will come out substantially lowerWould the benefits of going Opus Platinum be more noticeable in a high lofted or lower lofted wedge?
They cycle through a ton of testing for this. The shafts are picked based on performance (obviously) and the application for all golfers in a wider bucket. Both weights serve a broad demo for steel or graphite all while maximizing performanceI see there is both a DG and a DART shaft as stock options. How much testing went in to make sure the wedges worked with a lightweight graphite option as well as a more standard steel wedge shaft?
Not sure exactly but it is early days so I imagine more options will be available at some pointWhy do the platinum wedges stop at 54*?
Only Tom McKibbin in the 58Z that I know ofare there many platinum wedges in play on tour?
Interesting. Why do you think that is?Only Tom McKibbin in the 58Z that I know of
Because any face progression kicks the ball to the right (RH golfer) Off Set in any club will always help start the ball straight. Same with leading edge as far as optics. If it's too straight, optically it looks right biased. Obviously depends on how you play shots but this is very true for open faced players which is pre dominant on TOURSeeing the tour Wishlist is really interesting! Why was more offset wanted?
