I have a Logitech Circle view doorbell camera that is tied to my Apple Home kit. It works well but the view from my doorbell camera is limited. I added a eufy 2C Pro to my garage so I can see my entire driveway and my mailbox. I like that it’s battery operated and a small solar panel keeps it charged. The things I don’t like is that it’s prone to missing movement one in a while. It’s also pretty slow to alert me to motion. If a porch pirate stole a box from me, he’d be gone before the eufy camera alerted me and the video shows up. Eufy was advertised as working with Apple Home kit, but it doesn’t, you have to use the eufy app. There’s no subscription fees though. I asking what outdoor camera you have, and is slow response normal?

Slow response is usually associated with weak signal strength. Can you adjust motion sensitivity in the Eufy app?

All my cameras are Reolink but PoE and record 24/7.

We're using Arlo and they seem to be okay. The one furthest from our router tends to connect a little slower for live view so we may run our wifi extender to try and help with that

I've got Blink cameras around the house. Like with many wifi cams, they can be a little slow to turn on and miss some motion, but usually pretty good about picking up people. Its real fun getting those notifications and opening up the clip just to be treated to some lizard just dragging its nuts across your doorbell camera.

Any cameras connected wirelessly are going to have a slight delay. Depending on your connection speed at that moment of looking in, you could be screwed. Best bet is to run hardwired cameras to a PoE connected directly to your router.

We have a Blink doorbell and 3 cameras. I've only installed one camera inside, but the wife keeps on me to get the others installed outside. My biggest problem is that I need to get an Amazon Dot or another Blink device so I can hear the doorbell chime from inside the house.
