Heading into Christmas, here's what I'll be gaming in 2018. I hadn't really messed with my bag very much the past couple of years, but recently got new irons so it seemed as good a spot to start as any.
Here's my bag. It's probably due for a replacement soon.

Putter cover: Got it about 2+ years ago from Bullitt. Still love it.

My putter for the past year. Love the feel and distance control. That I suck at putting isn't this guy's fault, so I see no reason to hunt for a new one.

Wedges: I bounce around between my pair of Trust Rusty wedges and my MD2's. Right now this combination provides the most options inside 100 yards. And it's nice to be in Florida, where rust requires no effort at all.

Irons: I recently switched from my long-suffering Apex irons to Cobra F6 irons. They're crazy-long, launch very high, and they're a bit flatter, so I'm not fighting a pull as much. In addition, the gap wedge feels and plays more like a traditional wedge, which is really nice. Overall they've kind of helped my iron play feel less like I'm fighting where the clubs want the ball to go versus where I'm trying to get ball to go. Plus they look really nice at address.

Hybrid and wood: These guys are some stalwarts. Been gaming them both a long time. Still like the look and forgiveness of the X2Hot hybrid, and the 4-wood is just really easy to hit. Sadly, the 4-wood is likely next on the block. It's just too prone to ballooning and getting lost in the wind in the past year.

Driver: The big stick has been around for...I dunno, almost two years. I still like the look & feel, and I get pretty good distance and forgiveness from it. The only thing I can hold against it is that I can hit some bombs with the weight forward, but it renders the toe side just too low spin and I get a lot of knuckle hooks that just refuse to stay in the air.

And last, I'm planning to game the Srixon Q-Star Tour this year, and my divot tool and marker are probably going to be something from Arizona.

So that's my bag for now. I like it, but I'm never not shopping for new clubs. I guess I should take a moment to say thanks to all the great people on THP. It's been more than 4 years since I found this little corner of the internet, and it's introduced me to a passion for a truly wonderful game, and some even better people.

Loving the 3 C's setup! Callaway, Cobra, Cleveland.

That bag is one of my favorite Callaway has made. I game a Trusty Rusty 50* and it's absolutely solid. Time for a new driver...

Nice bag man. I still game the X2Hot 3 and 4 hybrids and love them

I think I'm getting a new Ogio bag for Christmas. This one has gotten a ton of mileage in the past three years, and it shows on the edges.

I'm looking at a Cobra F7 for a new driver but the Ping G has me really interested as well.

I had the F7 in the bag for awhile it is a good one. My Dad games the G and it has really helped his game.

It's getting serious.

Whew, haven't posted an update in more than a year!

The longest three clubs of my bag haven't changed this year (it's my 2019 project) but nearly everything else has. New irons, wedges, and putter, which should stick around for awhile, aside from my gap wedge, which will get a dedicated replacement eventually. It took a few rounds and range sessions to go from novelty to comfort with the CB/MB irons, but they're in for good. I picked up a Tour Edge Super Spin lob wedge that's been really good. The MD4 sand wedge is so versatile, and I love the look.

As for the putter, it's the look I want and the feel I need. That I'm a bad putter isn't its fault!

Haven't updated this in quite a while! Since the last update, new driver, fairway wood, hybrid, gap wedge, lob wedge, and putter. I don't get to play as often as I'd like to, so I'm not sure if I have any new plans for these babies, but I do love this bag.

Great looking bag, I like changes

Good looking bag! Ready for a MC rematch yet?

Anytime you're in the Augusta area, please hit me up. We're heading into the best time of year for golf and since the Masters won't have patrons they should stay relatively inexpensive.

Good stuff! Like those black irons! You guys are killin me and making me want to shaft up my Cobra stuff!

I realize that it's been almost 3 years since my last update, but while some things have changed, a lot hasn't. Still haven't found a set of irons I like more than what I've had for almost five years now, but I think there'll be a new hybrid in play before very long. The bag itself is from last summer, new wedges, new driver, and a recent switch to the White Hot OG #7. I think I'm a mallet player for now.
