Par Three/Pitch & Putt Thread by Slaz 82

Went for a walk yesterday not far from the pitch and putt course is a nice little park with a lake and ducks , wandered across to the pitch and putt and with the snow and rain we`ve had its a bit soggy .
so its def now my winter break ...........have to play golf on my x box :D
 
Hello there,
The weather has been sunny but cold this week and so if it continues next week looks ok on the forecast I might venture up to the p and p .
Start of the 2025 season lol ,hopefully the local council won't put the season ticket price up too much

So after all the fun at the Super bowl in New Orleans it's time to go get back to golf

My local p and p is to soggy to play and it bloody cold here ,well it is for me

Been watching a bit of that TGL League :confused:

Cleaned my club's and bag the other day ........ha ! That took all of 5 mins only got 5 club's and a putter and a small stand bag now :LOL:

We have a Pete Dye original here. City-owned, it’s been in pretty rough shape for the last several years, but I’m hearing better things lately. A four or five club layout that I may have to try again when the weather improves.
 
Hi Folks,
The weather is improving not to cold not much rain so yesterday i nipped to the pitch and putt .
The course is ok green have had `weed and feed` on them and we are awaiting the news on how much its going to be next financial year.
There no money in our local council coffers ,in fact they are in debt so i doubt if there will be any new tee boxes/mats this year

oh btw i just played 10 random holes and basically i couldn`t hit a barn door even if i was holding the handle :D

Back is giving me some jip , its my own fault trying to swing a driver and hit the ball to kingdom come , might have to pull out of the Masters in April

There is a 10 hole par 3 course at the New PGA Fields Ranch here in Frisco Texas, lighted
 
We have a really nice 18 hole one that @snafu and I should use but I don't.
 
Renewed my season ticket for pitch and putt, back is a lot better . The local council put the price up by £5 for the year ,not to bad AND we're getting some new tee boxes .Weathers been good too ......so got the Masters fever .
 
Started keeping score on just 9 holes , I play the same 9 and then use other holes to practice ,that's is I feel energetic!!!!.

So far I play three times scores are 38,38 and 39 . :unsure:
 
There’s a pitch and putt about 15 mins from me and then a par 3 hole course attached to a golf course 10 mins from me. Both affiliated with first tee.

Went to pitch and putt today with a buddy who strike a golf ball well ........much better than me .

We've had some hot weather......hot for us.... and the course is hard and bouncy . They try to water the greens but the system needs upgrading
Played about 12 holes and had a great time, chipped in on 3 holes
,bump and run on 2 holes and putted like demon OK the only reason I have chip and bump and run is cos my tee shots are
a bit crap lol

Pitch and putt early today not as hot ,had some rain but greens are not good the irrigation system need extending a bit but that ain't gonna happen

Decided to revisit that old idea of "half swings" off the tee and apart form hitting two tree branches on two holes it worked very well
