THP Experiences
We will have more of these I am sure with different companies, as our THP Experiences get under way in 2021, but wanted to do something fun.

One of our events we host each year is called the Morgan Cup with Cobra PUMA Golf. Each participant is treated to a tour player like experience complete with R&D time, marketing time and of course apparel scripting. Oh wait, a full bag of clubs with anything they want as well.

So if you were asked right now to put together your 13 club bag with all Cobra, what would you choose and why?

Of course signup for this Experience is going on now, so do not miss it.

RADSPEED RWB 9* fujikura motore F1 xstiff std length - natural progression from the SZ
RADSPEED big tour 3w fujikura motore F1 stiff - thought about leaving out the 3w all together, but backup tee club
KING Utility 2i UST recoil 780 stiff - gimme something low and hot for those windy days
RADSPEED OL 4h UST recoil 780 stiff - OL revolution
RADSPEED OL 5-GW KBS tour stock shafts stiff - OL revolution
KING MIM wedge 54* classic, 58* versatile KBS hi-rev 2.0 - very good wedges, slight change in grinds
KING supersport 35

King RF proto irons , PW-3i ( I assume price is no object), then 56 degree King MIM wedges (limited edition if it comes back in stock), King Radspeed Driver and Fairway and hybrid woods.

Oh how I would love to have an opportunity to go shopping like this.

Here's what my bag would look like while browsing the site:

Driver - RADSPEED XB Tour - I play 44.5" as it is but the heavier weight to give more control without distance loss is key here.
Fairway - RADSPEED Tour Fairway 5W - prefer the smaller, compact head look
Utility Iron - King Forged TEC 4 - I liked my Forged TEC irons, really wanted to try this utility so it gets a spot here, especially with the adjustability of the fairway woods
Irons - King Tour Irons with MIM 4-PW- New, beautiful, hoping I could hit them
Iron - King Tour Iron GW - Gapping from the PW to the GW to the next Wedge is odd, need to fill the hole with this guy
Wedges - King Tour 56 bent 55 & 60 - Gapping is odd in this set so that's how my brain is thinking here.
Putter - Limited Edition King Supersport - who wouldn't want to try a 3d printed putter that looks as good as this does!

Nope, as long as one is an Albatross Club Member, they get to pick their bag :D

King Radspeed XD Driver
King Radspeed Fairways 3, 5
King Radspeed 4 and 5 Hybrids
King Radspeed irons 6-GW
King MIM Black Wedges 54 versatile 58 wide low
King Supersport 35 putter

This is a good question. I hadn't even considered this at all 😆

Just kidding

RADSPEED XB Driver with Motore Speeder F1
RADSPEED 3, 5, & 7 Wood with Motore Speeder F3
RADSPEED 4H and 5H with MMT 80
RADSPEED 7-PW with KBS $-Taper Lite
Forged MB PW & GW with KBS $-Taper Lite
Cobra MIM Wedge 56* with KBS Hi-Rev 2.0

Possible I might go Forged Tec instead of RADSPEED, but pretty sure this is what I want. I will go test OL as well just to see. I plan on booking a couple hours in the sim at Golf Galaxy to fine tune. Mainly want to see what loft driver to get and test the XB against the XD and Regular Radspeed and to hit some OL hybrids and short irons.

I find that difficult, if not impossible, to believe Captain. :ROFLMAO:

Radspeed Driver
Radspeed FW
King Utility 19.5 Ventus Black 9TX (current club)
King Tour MIM irons 4-P // King Tour MIM irons + RF Proto combo
MIM wedges

Just for the latest and greatest! No idea what shafts I would play though.

This was an easy one to answer as I had already done a little Morgan Cup dreaming! Just had to copy and paste from the spreadsheet!

Radspeed XB Blue/Ventus Blue 6s
Radspeed Blue 3w/Ventus Blue 7s
Radspeed Yellow 3h/Recoil 780 SmacWrap
Radspeed Black 4-SW/Recoil 460
King MIM Black 58/Recoil 460

Then maybe a Supersport 35 3D printed putter while I'm dreaming a bit!

Driver: Radspeed XB 9 degree with Ventus Black 6 (Stiff).....Forgiveness and low spin
Fairway: Radspeed Tour Fairway with Ventus Black 6 (Stiff)....that compact profile and capability to dial it in, that's a great set up.
Hybrid: Radspeed 4H with Ventus Black 7 (Stiff) High launch off the deck and tee for an in between distance from the Tour fairway and 4 iron.

Irons: Combo set of King Tour and Forged Tec irons: 4-PW....perfect combo of feel, forgiveness and look in a combo set from Cobra. Yeah, I'd love to play straight blades, but no.

King MIM wedges in 52, 54 and 56 degrees

All irons with Project X 6.0 steel shafts

All clubs with Tour Velvet ALIGN grips (standard)

King RF proto irons , PW-3i ( I assume price is no object), then 56 degree King MIM wedges (limited edition if it comes back in stock), King Radspeed Driver and Fairway and hybrid woods.

They are still available.

I motion to have all RF Proto players on Team Paradise.

Driver Radspeed XB 9.0: w/hzrdus rdx blue(xflex)
3WD-Radspeed Big Tour: W/aldila rogue 110
4HY-Radspeed Custom: W/UST Recoil ESX
5-GW Radspeed irons(+1/2")
: steel shafts(stiff?)
(Not sure why they offer XS in woods, Hybrids, but not irons?)
Wedges: King MIM black wedge 54* & 60* (steel, stiff and + 1/2")

RAD XB 10.5 - Turbulence/Turbo Yellow - Tensei AV Blue 65 S - Standard length
RAD 5W - Peacoat/Red - Tensei AV Blue 75 S - Standard length
RADSpeed One 4H - UST Mamiya Recoil 780 S (+1")
RADSpeed One 4-PW - UST Mamiya Recoil 95 S (+1")
Whatever Cobra One Length wedge goodness that is available bent to 49, 54 and 59 - UST Mamiya Recoil 110 S (+1")

Edited to add because I didn't read all of the post:

Why:

Driver - seems to be the next step up from the SZX. The shaft has been good in my 3W so it has to be good in the driver, right?
5W - This could be a 3W but I figure I can turn it down to help with gapping.
OL hybo and OL irons - OL revolution is real! The irons would probably get the Recoil protos after the fact.
Wedegs - I don't know what sort of goodness that the boys at Cobra have in store for wedges but it will be good.

Yep I could play that bag

I like these types of questions. I stuck with stock options, as I recall that's what the Morgan Cup folks did last year.

King RADSPEED 9* (peacoat/red) w/ Fujikura Motore X F1 60S
King RADSPEED 3W (peacoat/red) w/ Fujikura Motore X F3 70S
King RADSPEED 5W (peacoat/red) w/ Fujikura Motore X F3 80S
King RADSPEED 4HY w/ UST Recoil 480 ESX F4
King Tour MIM Irons 5-GW w/ KBS $ Taper (Chrome) S
King MIM Wedges 56 & 60 (versatile grind) w/ KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 S

Why?

Driver: low launch/low spin to get the launch window I need.
3W and 5W: Versatility for longer shots. F3 launches a little higher for more control.
4HY: I like having a hybrid and this gives me a little extra boost over a 4i.
Irons: Precision, control, feel = heck yeah. Went with a GW to ensure distance gaps.
Wedges: 56 and 60 for shotmaking.

RADSPEED RWB 9* fujikura motore F1 xstiff std length - natural progression from the SZ

RADSPEED OL 5-GW KBS tour stock shafts stiff - OL revolution
KING MIM wedge 54* classic, 58* versatile KBS hi-rev 2.0 - very good wedges, slight change in grinds
KING supersport 35

The Motore F3 looked like an interesting profile. I almost picked it.

Right? I bet he has put together a bag in at least 5 different configurations.

I could benefit from the Draw bias in the XD Driver. And I’m all in on the Radspeed irons ever since I heard @Canadan and @Master Yagley discuss them.
