Played - July 4th

First time playing this course. Played with my brother, who’s a member at one of its sister courses and had the advantage with knowing layout and such. Shot a 93, which for me was good. My blow up hole was #9. I listened to my dumb ass brother and tried to clear the pond (Only 200 yards, which should be no problem for me) on a dog leg left instead of playing it safe and proceeded to put two in the drink.

The single behind us, who caught up with us after the round said we were the fastest twosome he’s ever seen. A nice compliment.

Played Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, CO for the first time yesterday. Nice track!

A few shots from Brookside CC in Macungie, PA.
#5 par 3 ~160. Tough hole with wide creek and native area in front of the green. Only good miss is left.


Approach into #6. A 240 yard hybrid puts you here with about 90 up the hill to the center of the green.

This is #10 at Auburn Valley today. I hit a pretty long drive for me, measured at 260 yds (my normal drives are usually closer to 220), but pulled it left to here .....



Hit 9-iron from there, came up short, just making the front of the green, with a back pin. Left me this 70 footer for birdie ....



I didn't make the birdie putt, but I did burn the left edge, leaving me about 2 feet past the hole, and I did make the par putt. .

Played Sunset Golf Course today overlooking the Susquehanna River. Planes overhead into Harrisburg Airport and Three Mile Island on the river. Neat course when you’re on top of the hill.

Third hole, par 3 at Meadow Lakes Golf Club in Yukon. 150 yards from the blacks, but includes a 30 meter (98.5 foot) drop from tee box to green.

Played Sultan's Run in Jasper, Indiana. What a course. I think it's now at the top of my all time best course list.

Looking down at the 12th hole at Little Creek Navy Base........from up the hill on the 6th tee box.

The 12th is my only "hole in one" that happened on Nov. 15, 1989

I always look down there for a few seconds before I hit off 6.
