I know my back swing gets too long and I break my elbows, etc. I would love to see pictures of your back swing and have Freddie and others discuss what is good and bad about it and what we might do to improve it.

I'll post mine soon but if you have a picture, please post and let's discuss the good, bad and ugly.

Great idea. I have some video on my iPhone, but I'm not actively hitting a ball & I know that sometimes the lack of hit impulse will make me swing differently. I'll see if I can get some shots from the sim!

I'll start.....

Freddie has or has had more pics of my swing then i have ever had, if you have one feel free

I know I'm flat but it works for me and I'm playing better golf and hitting more shots solid using my swing.

Okay, let's have it. Breaking my arms, swing too long, swing plane, closed face? Both of these were good shots but I know I need to shorten my swing as it gets way too long sometimes.

Kelly it's no secret that you can golf your ball. Your swing works for you and does so very well. Your back swing resembles one Mr Bubba watson. Your shoulders, hips and knees give you your back swing. I teach the opposite but it works for you. I would caution against getting too aggressive. I feel it will really take you out of your swing. Keep the torso moving through the shot and those arms swinging down the line.

Thanks Tadashi. When I was taking lessons, my swing would get awful and the first thing my coach would always tell me was to shorten my back swing and I would instantly hit the ball better.

This is from last spring. Made some slight adjustments during the fall. Man, sure looks like I'm hanging back on the downswing

From last year but still a good representation of my current swing when working.

I took these from a HOTD video. They are at the very top of the backswing.
One a mid-iron, the other a full 58 bunker shot.

Awesome setup, blu!
It's not mine. It's my instructors set up at his academy. You can't see it in the picture, but he has a Flightscope set up as well

If I didn't have little kids that would be a nice home winter setup...probably not though, wife would never go for it anyways.

Thanks to ArmyGolf for the pic. Not truly backswing as I'm just shifting into the downswing but close enough!
