Didn’t have $600 fairway in the release cycle this year. Interested in hearing more on the titanium they used.

Its very cool to see them add that head, because they are right, there are more and more extremely athletic people coming to golf who have no issues with launch or speed, but need that directional help while they learn. Too often the draw segment is only higher lofted heads. That blurb about the SFT felt very targeted to me
Also these are eye watering price ms across the board. Makes the other offerings this release cycle seem like bargains
You'll hear that it is, indeed, titanium. A lighter yet stronger version capable of being taken thinner than ever before is the usual story when it comes to a new titanium application in golf.Didn’t have $600 fairway in the release cycle this year. Interested in hearing more on the titanium they used.
Agreed, was excited to see a little depth added.glad to see them going to a deeper face on the fairways. their fairways have been very easy to hit for me albeit slower and spinnier than most, but the shallow face kind of sacrificed playability as a second tee option. sure the pricing is silly, but i'm getting old enough that i hate it across the board among almost all manufacturers.
That's precisely why I gamed a B21 instead of a Ping a couple years ago. The Ping actually helped me straighten it out more, but the spin was 3500+ with the 10.5 head. Its very cool to see them add that head, because they are right, there are more and more extremely athletic people coming to golf who have no issues with launch or speed, but need that directional help while they learn. Too often the draw segment is only higher lofted heads.
I will also be interested how that with the lighter and longer combo plays outIts very cool to see them add that head, because they are right, there are more and more extremely athletic people coming to golf who have no issues with launch or speed, but need that directional help while they learn. Too often the draw segment is only higher lofted heads.
I loved the blue of my G5I think the blue has a bit of nostalgia for original G lovers
It's not.Maybe it's just me.![]()
Few you say?the few who do aren't worried about the price from what I've seen.
That’s a DEEP face wrapWith Ping drivers, I always want to see how good/bad the turbulators look. Here's the top down view from the ping site. Not bad.

Someone had to do it. Titleist went $650 on its GT drivers, maybe Ping drew the short straw on being the one.Didn’t have $600 fairway in the release cycle this year. Interested in hearing more on the titanium they used.
Any early thoughts on the lighter and longer builds? That’s interesting to meI'm not sure anyone will care. They really don't sell many of them. Most don't entertertain it as an option and the few who do aren't worried about the price from what I've seen.
Has a ping ever been “sexy”Saw these yesterday. Honestly. They didn’t grab me at all..
G400 LST days?? That driver and line was pretty awesome.Has a ping ever been “sexy”
I feel like it will crush in the box box consumer worldAny early thoughts on the lighter and longer builds? That’s interesting to me
I’m not saying they don’t perform I’m just saying they don’t vary much when it comes to looksG400 LST days?? That driver and line was pretty awesome.
G440 Max around 9500 moi according to a ping interview. There was no MOI talk as far as numbers from PING on this release, I'm talking in information directly from them, and I found that interesting.
I would expect a 10K model at a later date like with 430.
