Ping i3 blade 7 iron vs Ping G700 7 iron

After 2 range sessions and 2 rounds playing the Ping i3 blades I didn't notice how small the i3 blade irons are compared to the G700 irons I was playing. After todays round I took 3 pic's to show the size difference between the two. The smaller heads of the i3 blades makes the ball look bigger and seems almost impossible to miss hit them. Instead of the i3 blades looking smaller, i see a bigger ball and feel free to hit the ball well.

As for the lead tape on both Ping irons, I don't like playing them at Pings C9 swing weight so I add lead tape to get them to D2 for the G700's and D3 for the i3 blades.

I don't know why Ping makes the swingweight so light. My G700's arrived at C7 even though they were supposed to be D2. At C7, they were unplayable.
