Ping's new irons (i e1, iblades, etc) are .25 inches longer than their previous iron sets (i25s, s55s). Curious if folks that had previous sets at standard length are going .25" shorter in the new sets or staying "standard length" and effectively going .25" longer.

I was fit standard in the i20s and in the new i e1s, so suppose I'll be increasing .25. I'm a hair short (5 8") with standard wrist to floor (34").

We ordered the G irons when I was fit for them at -0.25" for that reason. Though I'm not sure I'd be able to notice the extra quarter inch - there's probably that much variation caused by undulation in the ground and "noise" of where I grip for me to notice.

When I demo'd the ie1 had no issues with the added length compared to other irons. I didn't vent notice the added length
