SAN DIEGO, CA– Sunday Golf, the fastest growing golf bag manufacturer west of the Mississippi and south of Carlsbad, has launched their new Clay Thompson lineup of golf bags. Available in four different bag options, the bags are the latest colorway in the company’s vast lineup of bags.

“Our Clay Thompson golf bags are some of the most legendary looking bags we’ve made to date and we really think they’re going to be a slam dunk, no pun intended” said Ronan Galvin, co-founder of Sunday Golf. “When we first laid out the design for this bag it was a layup in my mind, we haven’t really seen anything else like it in the market to date. Either nobody has any idea who Clay Thompson is, or they spelled the basketball player Klay Thompson wrong on their own presser.

A really bad play on words here with them introducing the Clay color line in their golf bags. No idea who thought this was a good idea.

I thought that too but they capitalized the c in Clay which means its a proper noun if they were using it as a color reference the c should be lowercase

Its kind of funny. I did a google search on "Clay Thompson" just to see who else it could be and it asked me "Did you mean Klay Thompson?". I then clicked the "Search for Clay Thompson" and the the #1 search result after I said explicitly search for "Clay Thompson"?

So either trying to confuse on purpose, or just plain weird.

Maybe even reference a 3 pointer, and not a dunk for a 3 point shooter.

Even then, if it is indeed a Klay Thompson edition, that does not resonate at all with me, and do not take interest about the release.
