That was a gorgeous course back in 2001.....love that trac

A course a couple of miles from our lake home that I was able to play 15 times this summer. Slope rating is 145 with abundant trees and marsh as this view from one of the par 4 tee boxes shows.

And the 220 yard(246 from the back tees) par 3 15th hole looking back at the tee.

No surprise, but Coeur D’ Alene is my favorite this year. This was the long par 5 after the tee shot. Creek runs all the way down the left and in front/around the greenView attachment 8908310
Legit great course that really struck a balance between being scenic, playable and challenging

Without any doubt it was Coure de Alene, as is my typical form I only took a few pictures. But no pictures do it justice.

Super easy one here. While I enjoyed Shale Creek and @PKorf’s club, Firestone was easily my favorite. A976D11B-75A2-4365-932D-2D82060F9209.jpeg
Here’s my partner @djt311 hitting onto the near island green 17th.

Wow...I have a 3 way tie

I know you were a member at Firestone for awhile, but man, how could driving through those virgin FW’s with the morning dew on them to get to our starting tee on Firestone North not be top 3? You live an even more charmed existence than I ever imagined, lol.

I liked it. It was top 5-6....it definitely wasn’t #1 and I got to play some pretty effing amazing courses this year that, for me, moved in front of Firestone. Don’t get me wrong it’s a phenomenal course and if I hadn’t played the other three would be right up there. But, Ive played it. A lot.

Casa de Campo, Teeth of the Dog. That stretch of holes 5-7 along the ocean is just amazing. Best golf course I've played this year!

3rd at Pine Barrens, World Woods, closely followed by Streamsong Red 16th...…….par 3 hell.

Below is a picture from a new ClubLink course we played this year on the second day of a 2 day buddies trip in the Muskoka area in northern Ontario. The club is called Lake Joseph Golf Club and probably has the best set of par 3’s I have ever played on one course. Tons of elevation and complete isolation with nothing but nature. We loved it so much, have already booked our 2 day at same 2 courses for next year (Rocky Crest & Lake St. Joseph).

If you haven't played it yet make sure to add The Ridge at Manitou to your list. It's close to exactly nothing, but well worth the trip. Probably my favourite Muskoka course and I am very happy it survived the recent illness of the founder.
