This evening was one of those evenings I wish I didn't know how to work and fix on so much stuff. The A/C went out and I was up in the attic fixing it in 98 degree weather. The attic was every bit of 125 deg.

The condensate drain was clogged so I had to drag my air compressor up there and then vacuum out the gallon of condensate sitting in the drip pan. What a pain.

Small and really great for kids, it's an easy go to for our family. We usually stop at thornberry for lunch on the way home.

I was back in PA this weekend to help my grandmother move into a new apartment. She's 91 and has Parkinson's and has been living in the same second floor apartment for the last twenty years. Her apartment was on the second floor of a building above a funeral home and the running joke was that she could just slide down the stairs when she was ready. She still gets around reasonably well with her walker, but not having to take the stairs would be a great help to her and my mom who does a lot to take care of her. We sat outside for a little while Friday afternoon and took care of the flowers on the back deck.

It was finally time for her to move into a new place so she could have better access with her walker. I stayed at mom's house with grandma on Friday while the movers took care of the heavy stuff with my mom and her husband. We moved some more small things on Saturday and a few more things on Sunday and she saw the place on Sunday afternoon. I was surprised when she liked it because she was nervous about moving to a new place and it's smaller than the apartment where she was, but there were two big rooms with storage and a little spring cleaning wouldn't hurt anyone.

I found this can while we were unpacking in her new place and it reminded me of the sauerkraut/spicy mustard discussion. I was in no hurry to open that can!
