Post a picture of your day

Weekend camp on the river. Sun, wind, rain, hail… in one day.

The approach to the par four 4th hole from 175ish out. Every year we show up to the course hoping the tree that overhangs the narrow part of the fairway didn't survive the winter, and every year we are dissapointed to find out it did. Sadly, however the hole just wouldn't be the same without that tree there. We generally accept a bogey as par on this hole.

One happy picture, one less happy picture. This was yesterday - I forgot to post it. Fortunately I have took the ability to choose if I work outside.

Here's a closeup of the upper part of the trunk of that tree. I'm positive the course has driven steel columns into it to keep it upright:D

I’m on a fishing trip in northern Wisconsin. This was taken from the deck in front of the cabin.

Memorial Day weekend on the water! Looking at triple digit temps for this afternoon, so lots of people hit the water early today. The wife and I are really enjoying the new Eddyline Sitka kayaks, a nice upgrade for both of us.

Ready to roll ....

I once thought Tahoe was this countries most beautiful lake until today.
Crater Lake is #1 now.

Record breaking snowfall this year means for some serious melt… creek on #8 is VERY high this spring, and it’s still on the rise.

Played my local course this afternoon, Apple Mountain, and was pleasantly surprised with a few changes. First, I wasn't required to wear a mask while checking in, then found that the practice green has the flags back in the holes.

Talked to the Superintendent a bit before I went to the first tee, and he told me that rakes are back for the bunkers, ball washers are back in service, flagsticks are back to normal, and can be pulled, and water jugs are back out on the course! So pretty much back to normal for the first time in over a year, hopefully other courses in the area will be getting back to normal too.

Some pics of a beautiful day on the course:

See the little channel in the black circle? Yup, that had to come out. Actually, two of them since there was one on each side. No camera trickery, it's inside of a metal box without any access. Well, there *wasn't* any access before I started;)
