Who would you like to see on the next Hank Haney Project?

After watching the AT&T National Pro-Am, my vote is for Chris Berman.

Chris Berman Swing:

I think his announcing is worse than that golf swing. I enjoyed the one with Sugar Ray Leonard and the other 3. Hope they do something similar to that again.

I didn't care much for the show with multiple projects. It just felt too rushed and you never really got to watch the candidates improve their game. I don't know who I would pick, but Boomer probably wouldn't be my first choice. Maybe Justin Timberlake. He's not bad as it is, but he would make it entertaining and Hank could probably turn him into an amazing golfer.

It was kind of interesting, but you are right it did seem really rushed. I liked the Barkley year and the Rush Limbaugh year. I thought they were both rather interesting in their own ways. Barkley because of his MAJOR swing issues. Limbaugh because he was more of a typical golfer than you'd think. He would just show up to the course and off he'd go, no warm up, no range time. He also didn't stretch or exercise but yet he could play somewhat decent golf and just wanted to get better. It's hard to think it, but he was your avg golfer.

I think the Michael Phelps one could be good. Time will tell.

David Duval

I was actually thinking the same thing, but I'm pretty sure it would never happen. It would be my favorite show on TV if it did.

Agree with the rushed part of the show. I enjoyed the competitions they had. Isn't JT a pretty good golfer as it is? Figured Hank would probably stick to the Charles Barkleys of the golf world. This is a random one.. how about Ellen DeGeneres (if she even plays golf)? Extremely popular and could possibly get a large female audience to watch as well. You know they'd want to get someone who would generate some publicity for the show.

hmm, glad to see someone has a shorter back swing than me

and nice work Berman on delofting the mess out of that driver

He has a VERY wide stance. No way can he get to his left side on the finish.

I liked the season where they had four people best.

Timberlake is a pretty good golfer, yeah. I think he has a like 6 or 7 HC. I just like the guy and think he is a great ambassador for the game and would be a fun, energetic show to watch. I don't think Ellen plays golf, but Catherine Zeta Jones does and shes a babe. I would watch that. Maybe have a couples contest with her and Michael Douglas.

I think Berman would be a great project, but I don't know how his schedule would work. I'd also like to see what Haney could do with say an amateur just turning pro and see how he could develop someone who has a really good swing and game to start with!

Surprisingly, he had pretty decent contact and hit it generally straight and low.

I bet it would get big time ratings! It would be must see TV for me.

Not bad.

That would be a great show, especially if it helped him make some cuts. I'd watch every episode.

That Woods guy has some skills! Wonder if he will amount to anything?

He might win a tournament here and there, but I bet he's a hit with the ladies.

I heard Perkins is looking to get into golf, wonder if they could get him to rep them?

Well, if celebrity status isn't a requirement, I'd say ME :bananadance: .

Would love to see that combined with a life on the road sort of reality show following him this year as he tried to make it back.
