Practice Net

Saw a guy using one of these practice nets today at our short game practice area.

Thought it was was decent idea for around the green practice shots.

I spoke with him about it. He let me hit a few balls into it. I hit three of the four shots. My lop/flop shots went over the top of it.

He told me that most of the time, he used it indoors, hitting plastic balls into it.

This could be a diy project later on this year.

If you are practicing at home you can use a simple step ladder and some paper or small cardboard boxes. Look up the golf ladder drill on youtube. Does the same basic thing as the net does, but with hardly any costs at all. Of course the net is super nice much like a chipping net and the ladder is not as portable, but just laying out some alternatives here.

Thats not a bad idea! I like the DIY option too.
