We have seen plenty of companies look to their past to bring back concepts, names, and familiarity. The truth is, a lot of times it works and nostalgia takes hold. What about something that is not quite lost, just shelved for some time (like my writing career)?

👀 👀 😲 😲

This was the first driver shaft that I was fit into for multiple drivers. It flat out worked for me, and I was so disappointed when they stopped producing them- I've got two down in my basement right now that I had been contemplating re-tipping for my Elyte.

well that's a fun one to bring back.

Absolutely love the HZRDUS yellow. I think I still have a 3 wood with one in my extras bag. Love to hear that they aren’t just completely rehashing it too and are making advancements on it.

Interesting.. the yellow was definitely a love it or hate it thing.

Very fitting to see @Canadan write this one...I was a love of the original yellow myself, something about that highlighter in a driver shaft worked for me

Really cool to see the re-introduction of this, and something we've seen quite a fair bit in the shaft world it feels like

A little sad they didn't bring back the full yellow. That was the only Hzrdus shaft I've ever had success with.

Would've loved to see the full yellow, even if it was a special edition type thing

I had one, it was great but I found something better a few years later. I don’t “get” people wanting to bring back and pay top dollar for old equipment concepts they sold for $25 shipped years ago.

Im not sure I understand. All shafts fit into some spectrum of EI curve. What changes is the process that allows golfers to play "better" because of new materials and manufacturing.

I'm disappointed its not yellow, but I get it. Very cool to bring this one back.

I’ve been curious about the Yellow for a while, as it was already pretty much gone before I started playing again. Will have to give this a try. Is this one still counterbalanced?

Fantastic return to writing @Canadan

Maybe I don't fully understand what you mean, but this definitely isn't just a re-release.

The overall flex profile is continued, but the materials and concepts applied are latest and greatest. Why wouldn't that be an awesome thing?

As someone who has owned many of the OGs, I'm not at all disappointed it's not yellow.

Love that it's more subtle.

Like I said I get it why its not, more people much prefere that subtle look I"m sure. That thing stood out like crazy but it was fun haha.

Exactly, newer materials and manufacturing. Same profile… just better now.

I think back on the Grafalloy Blue. The original did so well, then they decided to bring it back and it didn’t get the same traction. People bought it because of the name.

I have always wanted to make one of these shafts work. I love the concept and style. I never tried a Yellow. Maybe it's time.

I never played the Yellow but I definitely remember all the love an support there was for the Yellow around here. I was playing a Red from another manufacturer at the time as I felt it suited me better. However, I made that determination without every trying the HZRDUS Yellow. This time around I feel like I'm going to need to give it a try.

Good write up @Canadan

This was a shaft I liked as well. It seems even the HZRDUS blues have faded away at this point. Glad to see them firing this option back up again.

Just make sure you get a RH adapter on it please. I'll take it when you're done ;)

I know a guy that can swap adapters pretty quickly.........

Nice, i never played the OG yellow but the Smoke yellow was one of my all time favorites. How does this compare to the smoke yellow?

Good stuff @Canadan

I’d love to revisit the Yellow with how different my swing is now, especially a modern version of it.
