The Driver
It’s no secret that during release season, the focus is often on equipment, with drivers usually stealing the spotlight. As discussions about new drivers and metalwoods unfold, attention eventually shifts to shafts, which is where we find ourselves today with the launch of a new line from Project X known as TITAN Black. At THP, […]

Fun read! Cool ei profile. Definitely going to be a firm shaft.

Great read!

Nice write up @ddec it's always fun to see what Project X is putting out. While this definitely isn't a shaft for me, it will be fun to see how it is received.

Very interesting! Only releasing in TX flex right now - is that going to be the only flex for this shaft, or will other flexes come along?

Very Cool did not even know this one was in the work. Great Article @ddec

That EI curve and that transition from handle to mid looks very interesting.

Pretty interesting they worked the Ei curve to give a bit different sensation/option for the big swingers. I’ll be curious to hear folks thoughts when swinging it.

Very different EI curve.

Love to see new shafts during release season. Probably too stout for me, but I’d still like to hit a few with it when I get a chance.

Great info here @ddec Came away knowing exactly what to expect with this one.

I love this. It sounds like a beast of a shaft, but it’s interesting. I like options, and this gives the strong guys another one in the quiver.

I wonder if other variations are truly coming as hinted at the end of the article?

Thank you @ddec for the information. I have been seeing the Project X teasers on social media and wondered what this was about. I like the overall strategy here to make the hands softer and create a better feel through impact. This one might be out of my league or playing ability, but for those who have the speed it should be a welcomed option during fittings.

Interesting profile here. Definitely not for me but I can see why some might need it

This sounds a lot like the old Evenflow White profile, which I liked quite a bit. Will have to try this one at some point.

Interesting release!! This is exciting for the higher swing speeds specific. I am very curious about how these feel,a smooth overall feel is something that you dont typcally get with a low low very stiff profile.

This peaks my interest for sure. "The increased hoop stiffness allows golfers with faster swing speeds to swing aggressively without worrying about energy loss or increased shot dispersion."

I'd swing one, because why not. But I don't think I have swing speed necessary to game one. Fascinating article though, so well done @ddec!

I have an irrational urge to put one of these in a 9 wood.

For science...

Color me intrigued

Really interesting profile. I’ve gotten along with the Denali Black so would like to try this one at some point.

Great write up Mr. @ddec

This sounds like another really intriguing option coming from PX-and a profile I'd probably get along with fairly well given recent success the Black.

Soft handle, very stiff mid and tip. And 90TX!?
