Public Service Reminder: THE SUN DOES NOT LIKE YOU!

Bumping this thread as a reminder. Had my annual full skin check with my dermatologist this morning. Things continue to be good because we catch things early. She hit 13 spots on my scalp with liquid nitrogen, as well as about eight others on my cheeks. All pre-cancerous.

Always wear sunscreen or cover up.

Always wear a hat.

Always wear sunglasses.

Once you find something, get regular check-ups. It increases your chances of staying ahead of it.

Wear a hat and sunscreen. After MOHS surgery I am missing a significant part of my right ear.

sunblock always and always walk with my UV umbrella up (that thing sees more sun than it does rain) and also wear a full rim hat.
I stay out of the sun as much as its possible to do so on the course.
