Putter Refinishing Companies

Thanks for the link. I am interested in this as well at some point. I have a 20 year old Odyssey putter worth next to nothing, but I still play it and it has a lot of sentimental value.

unless you're trying to sell it, value is in the eye of the beholder. Sounds like an awesome piece.

Pmm21: I would love to discuss a project with you as well.

Kickassclubs has been great answering my NUMEROUS questions and emails and has my putter right now to refinish. I will definitely post more when I get it back, but so far the process has been great.

When my beloved Byron Morgan met the desert I was looking for a putter refinishing company to clean it up. I could not get anyone to answer the phone, return calls, return emails etc. I won't name the companies but at least 3 different ones just flat out ignored me. I then got an instagram ad and started to follow Embrace Putters in Fountain Hills, AZ. https://www.embraceputters.com/ I just got the putter back and my oh my it looks sweet. The ordering process was easy and Liam did some extra requests for me with no issues. Overall I would highly recommend Embrace Putters if you are looking for work done. I got my putter there and back in about 7 weeks.

Now I just need to figure out which head cover to put on it.

You need to sell me that sugar skull! Haha

Does anyone have any experience with NorCal Putters? It looks like they do pretty good work on Instagram.

I'm talking with Peter at Kickassclubs about refinishing a SC putter for me. He did an outstanding job on my custom ball marker

Does anyone know how much refinishing affects the feel/milling of a putter typically? For example, if I was interested in sending in a Handsome Two Swag putter for a black finish. Would someone smarter than me advise against it? Or is there a way for the finish to be changed without really messing with the Swag’s feel/milling?

I recommend kickassclubs.com highly. I posted earlier in this thread that I would update, so I am just copying the thread for those interested.

I’m sending this SC to Peter to work his magic... I’m sure it will come back looking spectacular!

Just leave it like that and play it bro. I like the tiger Woods "played" look personally.

Peter sent me some teaser pics of my refinished Atlanta that have me pretty excited. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

For anyone looking to get some work done I highly recommend @Space Bandito and KickAssClubs. Peter was awesome to work with and did a kick ass job on my Atlanta.

It looks great! I can’t wait to see his work on mine.

Still debating about the finish. I prefer a matte finish on the part I look at. Read about the pros and cons of the different types. I’m between PVD and Beadblast at this point. Either way, I’m not sure I’ll have him finish the milled face or sole.

What do you think about that finish and durability? Did you have the face and sole covered as well?
