Man, I’ve been putting more with my grip “under“ the putter. Seems to lock my elbows and wrists in. Seems to be working well for consistency

I think this is putting version of kicking yourself in the dingy over and over..

I kind of love these Puttout products.

Inherently irritating while forgetting that the real target is MUCH larger than this allows.
They make good stuff. I wonder how much it helps vs just being frustrating but till my kids broke it. I loved my perfect putt. It was easy to forget time and just roll putts.

of course it helps.

If you go to the putting green and putt at a quarter instead of a hole, there's no reason to get frustrated when you miss a lot - But that 'miss' could easily be turning into a hit when you get on course the next time.

Bingo.

You know you’re having a day with the flatstick when @MSEASU says “well, you don’t need to make ALL the 15 footers”.

Focused practice. It should be simple. But it’s not always that way.

I fall into the habit of always working on pace Abd start line. I don’t focus enough at times on making putts.

I miss more from miss judging breaks. Not hitting my mark. So I need to work that into my practice.

Aim small miss small..

I've really got to figure out my aim issues. I generally do pretty well with pace, but my aim just seems to suck lately. I have a cup that is just barely larger than the size of a ball I practice putting to, but I think my carpet isn't the best surface to practice on. Need to get a good mat to use me thinks and maybe that Edel laser thingamajig.

So... mini hole.

I’d like to get better at reading greens. For those that have improved on that. How did you do it?

So... mini hole.

I’ve used a Newport/Anser style putter for years. Putt fine, no complaints other than thinking I should make more.

A month ago for the heck of it, with the season almost over I decided to take out the Ping Tyne 4 slant neck that I never used because I hated the feel off the face.

I’ve been making everything I look at. More importantly, I’m making the 10-12 footers that I think I should make. I’m afraid to go back and try the Scotty again. The putts are rolling on the intended line….

Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth... just keep rolling them in
