Putting with your pointer finger down the shaft?

Did it take a while to get used to the change and did anyone and a ECPC mention your grip last year?

It did not take long at all to get used to the change. Luke gave me a couple setup tips and did say it would be better to move that finger. I was a bundle of nerves and was not going to make a change that week.

I dont, but Brooks does. He won back to back US opens putting that way. So, I wont tell people not to. Putt how you feel comfortable.

Tour SNSR 140 grip and lightly wrap, I never use the pointer finger down the shaft. Once I got used to not doing it, I started putting better.

Having just gotten a putter with this grip installed, I am trying to break the habit of the finger down the shaft. Im there for lag putting and see improvement. But for pressure packed short putts, I revert to the comfort zone of fingers (both index) down the shaft.
