Truer words can not be spoken - honestly I am hopeing I can keep her interested in robotics long enough to parley it into battle bots in a couple years the have a whole league in New Haven that meets regularly that’s worth an hour drive for me
Had me at battle bots. I originally wanted to be a mechanical engineer years ago for reasons like this, but recently chose software instead.
Fyi, I hope she stays into it too so I can watch videos of your dope battle bots

It was actually some very good conversation I thought when I made it might get a bit ragey so I thread to frame the question to avoid it and it was less contentious thent eh ongoing embargo calendar thread which got snippy earlier this week

The only reason I knew that the OL thing wasnʻt the best idea in the way it was presented was because I went down that rabbit hole a couple years ago and got a crash course in swing weight principles. Adding in the Takomo part was what caused it to burn...lol

100% for sure I admit I kind of knew that was probably the answer but if you have a great resource like all the guys that build clubs on here why not use it hell where else are you going to literally get the leading expert and the guy who designed the bulk of them for the one company that really does them at scale chime in (that really made my morning)
