Question of the day 3: do you put fruit in your beer

Most of the time, no.

Blue Moon and Corona are absolutely passes for me though. Fruit in there is just fine.

Never seen those before...are they some type of fruit beers?

one is an IPA that has "fruit" from careful selection of hops. The other two are various sour beers, specifically version of Berliner weisse, that cna have a wide range of fruits and citrus.

Question of the day 3:

Do you put fruit in your beer? A lemon or lime wedge? I have seen people put an orange slice is certain beer

Only Corona but I've never added it. Whether bartender or host, there it was.

Fruit in beer..... never quite got that. Why ruin a a beer!

you know how the corona and the lime thing Got started?
Down in Mexico, where it is hot and dry, the flies used to go into the bottle for liquid. They came up with the idea of a lime wheel with a toothpick. Take a drink, put the lime back on top to guard the liquid gold. No flies in your beer.
the Americans decided to change it to a wedge and stuff it in the beer. Great marketing.
