We went artificial a few years ago and never looked back

We had a large 9’ artificial tree for a long time but this year we purchased a 7.5’ one from Costco with lights already installed. Took literally 5 minutes to set up vs.2 hours with the old one.

We go artificial. Growing up closer to the city, it was hard to find quality trees or a tree farm. This year due to a horrid drought around New England most of the tree farms are either closed or shipping in Canadian trees. I always like putting it up the day after Thanksgiving, so you almost need two trees to make it last until New Year's or Epiphany.

We also live in an apartment which prohibits real trees for the fire hazard.

Artificial for us due to allergies

Real. If it doesnt fill your house with the scent of pine, its no bueno for me. You get bonus points if you trek into the woods in waist deep snow and cut it down yourself too.

All I know the wife has both trees up. The woman still loves to decorate . One in the foyer and a small one in the breakfast area.
