when i setup to the ball for a full swing, I tend to swing much better when I approach the ball looking to smack it from behind the ball Sometimes when ball is in a divot/rough or downhill lie I tend to have to look at the ball from the top rather than side How do you compensate the angles from those awkward lies?

I look at the back of the ball on all shots. Really helps on putts.They said there would be no math or geometry on this site. LOL.
