Hello all,
Newbie here with my first post; of course, I'm asking for help. I'm a hacker, happy to break 50 for 9 holes, but I have fun. My current driver (Callaway HyperX 9 degree, Fujikura Fit-On OEM shaft, regular flex), is fine for me. But a clearance giveaway at a local course gave me a new Cobra ZL driver head, which is about 10 years out of date but of course I'd like to try it. Problem is, I can't find a shaft adapter for it. I've tried several golf shops, the Cobra website, eBay, and several on-line component dealers, but it seems that no one carries such an adapter any more. Does anyone know a source for the ZL adapter? I think the ZL is the first Cobra driver to use their "Adjustable Flight Technology"; the hosel(?) has only three lobes, so the shaft adapter can only have three settings; I assume this means that I can't use one of the newer adapters, since they have more settings/notches; does anyone know whether a newer adapter can be used on the ZL? Thanks in advance for your help.
