I have been struggling with the short irons for a month now. Any club higher than an 8 i can almost guarantee i will not hit the target area. short from scooping, thin it long, hit the hosel, you call it. When I look down at address i can not "see" trapping the ball between the face and the ground. The face angle is so unsettling to my eye. Last practice session i hit the green 14 out of 20 times from 158 with a 7 iron. i moved to 110 yards and hit the green 4 times with a pw. This has not been the problem ever in the past. any suggestions?
