Shot Scope Connex Performance Tracking Tags

Android phone. It has happened with an older Pixel 6 and not Pixel 8.
I wonder if the older pixel 6 is gotten all of the Shotscope app updates. I’d check to make sure it was fully updated.

I’m back to ponder mode for my 4th shotscope purchase. Season is winding down and I might want to give it another try for 2025. Connex would be the way to go for me.

oops. Typo. I meant that it happened on both phones. Shot scope software was up to date. Android OS up to date.

Using the Connex tags off and on most of this year.

Odd bug has shown up. After I have completed my round and do a post round edit and sign off, the date and time of the round changes. Moves forward 2-5 days.
This happens regardless if I edit and sign off in the app or the dashboard.
The date doesn't change until you edit and sign off the first time. After that you can edit and sign off repeatedly and the new incorrect date stays.

I only put this in the Connex discussion as this has only happened to me with the tags. Past user of V3, X5 and never had issue.

Shot scope ticket created. They think software bug issue maybe.

Interesting. I have not had this issue on iPhone 15Pro. You may be correct about it being an Android thing.

Lost my putter tag last round. While I CAN use without, it sucks. Not sure if I want to replace it or get a discounted H4 and try that.

Though Shot Scope already has (arguably) the most comprehensive collection of performance tracking products on the market, there has always been a small missing link in their lineup. Prior to today, golfers had to purchase a device, i.e., the X5 watch, to link their on-course performance with the Shot Scope dashboard.

For some reason, I missed seeing this thread. My X5 watch stopped working. I went through two of them and just did not have a great experience, unlike the V3, which was really solid. I have kind of missed being able to see the full screen of the hole on the phone, like you have with Arccos. I have never minded having the phone in my pocket. I am 90% in to giving these a try. Thanks for the review.

I have mine in my pocket already so I'm intrigued because if it's not a pain to tag, then I could keep my Apple Watch on.
I am way late to the thread, but this is my interest as well. I used Arccos for years and it never bothered me. I also have a Garmin S70 watch. I love the green reading feature that it has and I also like to track my steps every day. I wonder if this is a good alternative.

@Tenputt pretty sure you can get a set of Connex for like $69 right now if you want to try them out. I've liked them better than a watch for me personally.

I have gone through the entire thread now. I see that they are on sale for $69. I wouldn’t have a problem tapping my phone before the swing with everything except a putter. It kind of comes down to putting. If I could touch the putter sensor to my front pocket and it picks up the putting location, I would be all in to try these.

I tap when I get to my ball on the green for the first putt before marking and picking it up. Quick and easy. Only time it becomes slightly annoying is for any second putt, like a tap in. Sometimes I just skip them and add them in later while editing the round to save time, even though it is only a couple of seconds. Pretty easy to add in a 1 ft tap in after the fact, even in the app while riding to the next hole.
