SIM League: Week 1 Knocking the Winter Rust Off

Uggg. Got to 70% and errored.

First time playing with wind on...it felt a little bit weird. Played a few holes beforehand to get a feel (to see if Plays Like included wind) for it. Front 9 kinda crazy (two chip-ins), back 9 settled down with a real Hacker bogey to finish it off.

FYI when/if we do handicaps I'm down with whatever you guys decide for me.

What does it say about me that I took the time to do the math to see if it was possible for someone to do worse then me. It is and now I am hoping for it
 
The plan is to get a round at Coeur d’Alene for the league on Thursday. It’s a great excuse to get over to @tanker337 ’s house. He’s had a standing invitation for me to visit and check out his set up.

He’s got a great DIY sim room. That I hope to glean designs and instructions to build myself. Mevo+ and GSPro.

He, @jjjgolf500 and I all plan to post a score for this league.

If I’m feeling spry afterwork tonight or the weekend, I’ll get the Bethpage score posted on my ST+

Alright, after all sorts of chaos today with some issues trying to collect data and eventually a reinstall, I think I lm going to join in the fun.

Bethpage scares me, but why not?

It's not that bad. Just watch out for driving it thru the fairway on 6 and taking 4 shots to get out of the woods.

I do not recommend it.
 
Tomorrow its finally Bethpage time!
 
I have 3 straight rounds of 86. I think I'm going to tap out to Bethpage. Maybe.

Had 3 shots tonight end up inside 10.03 feet. Just enough to cost me a 2nd putt on those.

Oh dang. Did I skim that we are allowed to play it more than once? Gonna give it another go on Friday and try not to get stuck in the woods for 4 shots hahahah

Once you submit a score that one counts. Funny that people are playing it multiple times to submit their best score. 🤣

I mean I guess some really want that virtual trophy.

I think triple would be good. I’m guessing I’d be around a 9-10 ch on Bethpage which would make triple a score I could enter in GHIN for about half the holes.

Yeah I think that is what I might change it up to with next weeks round.

Oh gotcha. Yeah I already submitted so I'm good. The less I have to play Bethpage Black the better! :LOL:
