So some background. My first real set of irons that I absolutely loved was the Tommy Armour 845 SilverScots. Loved those things. Loved everything about them. Now maybe its the nostalgia talking, maybe its the current state of the world and me harking back to a simpler time when golf was pure and the world was simple, maybe its because I am going stir crazy being locked in the house with my wife and kids while trying to work remote. Maybe a little of all 3.
But, I found these and I am really REALLY tempted to buy them and put them through some comparison paces on a simulator against my T200's just to see where they stack up. For $100 bucks or so, can I say no?
Not sure what hte specs are on that tour shaft but I'd give it a swing out of the box and maybe even consider throw some cheap modern shafts into one of them just to see what the head would with a modern shaft.
Ok THP community. Talk me out of it. Please.
