Have you ever forgone the putter and decided to putt with a wedge? I certainly have, and during a recent THP Experience at Hidden Creek, my 54° and 60° wedges served as my main putter for one of the rounds. Those in my group can confirm what my longtime golfing partner (also known as my […]

Great writeup @ddec ! I'm sure it works, but visually it just doesn't appeal to me and especially with putter, I have to like what I am standing over to feel confident with it from the get go if that makes sense. Maybe rolling putts and it working would change that, but not sure.

This is a super intriguing product to me. On one hand the looks are really unique, and some might shy away. On the other other hand it just screams “going to work” to me, which is pretty fascinating.

The testing is a pretty cool thing.

Good write up @ddec!

This is an interesting looking item. Kind of an exaggerated version of the SIK face Cobra uses.

Pretty cool story of how it came to be. @ddec - no issue I would assume to adjust the lie angle if needed?

Really interesting concept. I'd love to see it tested using some of the video technology available these days just see to see what sort of impact it has on forward roll compared to a conventional putter.

How's it feel @ddec? Seems like a small surface area is impacting the ball.

That’s a cool write up @ddec before I got to the section I was thinking about the longer putts with the ball coming off the face hotter and got a little hop, if that would be a thing.

Do you really think it was all your putting control that has that happen from further out? The product looks like something that could work for some people my question would be if you have never used a product like that what is the shelf selling point when you are in the store.

Good write up @ddec

Is it weird looking down at that? Seems like it would take time to get used to

Great article @ddec

I’ve got the mallet and I also have difficulty with the longer putts. Ball seems to hop when I strike it on the lag putts.

Interesting design and concept. The look from above isn't too bad. The issue with lag putts and using it as a training aid to help with a solid stroke is interesting.

Interesting story, I like the concept but I have questions. Why was the dad putting with a wedge in the first place?

Good write up @ddec Accuracy for short putts sounds great but the long putt part would be a problem.

Good write up @ddec. Personally not crazy about the look but the concept sounds interesting. Maybe they’ll make a ZT version. 😝

Interesting and different. Not sure what else to say other than $308. Odd number

I've often putted with my wedge, especially when the putter and I aren't getting along.

This is a super interesting design. Be neat to try one sometime.

Interesting concept and design.

Very interesting design. It’s nice to see things that are truly unique and this fits the bill. The 30 day trial is also very cool for a product so untraditional.

I wonder if they went with the name Spoiler Golf because both designs so far effectively look like car spoilers.

Great article @ddec !

Solid write up @ddec and I love to see products like this land on THP. A few things caught my attention from the write up. One, I absolutely have leaned on a wedge more than once to finish off a putt. The first thing out of my mouth was \"I should putt with my wedge all the time\". This putter if it can replicate that motion, I can see being a great training tool and even one that can be used during rounds if the player gets comfortable enough.

The 30 day trial along with the putter analysis is a nice feature and should help those on the fence make a decision to try one. The price point seems high, but given the materials and \"dual use\" I can see the reasoning.

Always like to see something very unique. I sometimes wonder if the quality of roll on a putt is a little overrated, and there seems to be some trade offs here for a theoretical better roll

Interesting concept , and it looks pretty nice at address. I'm used to using blade type putters so i like how it frames the ball.

Not sure i'm totally down with the tech in terms of using it, but i like that people are always out there trying new things

Interesting. I don't hate the look at all.

Interesting story, I like the concept but I have questions. Why was the dad putting with a wedge in the first place?
Same reason @ddec does, probably lmao
