Sports Memorabilia Thread

There will be this spot that will have athlete/movie or TV.
Willie Beamen signed by Jamie Fox
Roy Kent signed by Goldstein
I need a third. I wanted it to be a Jersey signed by Tom Selleck in Mr. Baseball, but that pretty much doesnt exist. So I am back to the drawing board.
that would be cool

i have a game used vintage LA Dodgers hat, a commemorative ball, and pics of the Brooklyn and LA Dodgers along with older NYY pics. My mom when she worked in a cancer research office had a patient that was the official photographer. I have a ball from the Orange Bowl signed by Andrew Luck he is a family friend, my old neighbor signed a football for me when I lived in S. FLA he was an amazing olinemen for the Dolphins Richmond Webb, I have a signed football jersey from Demetrius Jackson from the Hurricanes, and a game used Hurricanes Baseball helmet from a game they played here at the ACC Championship.

I had a bunch of signed CBJ hockey photos on my wall for a while - until they all got traded and slowly each one came down hahaha

The coolest piece of non-THP memorabilia I have is because of the Morgan Cup haha - A cool signed Bridgestone Staff bag with all their Tour players at the time.

Those look awesome @JB ! Can't wait to see the finished wall / area!

side note- I've always struggled with the best way to frame a golf flag.....anyone have any ideas? Two in one frame? Individual? Don't frame them? Have a bunch of signed flags

Check out Pin Flag Frames that are made specifically for them and use magnets in many cases to keep in place.

hmmmmm magnets are a good idea. Thanks! Gotta start thinking about how to display them in my new office and basement

something like this? Good god that's cheaper than having a local place do it and if they work well, that's what I'm doing.

18X22 Compact Black Golf Flag Frame, Moulding blk-001, Green Mats (float mount; perfect for 13x17 Master's Golf Flags; flag not incl) https://a.co/d/1CKlNgx

Yup. That uses adhesive rather than magnets, but its light adhesive and it looks pretty darn good. I bet you can find it cheaper on amazon by digging as well. But $115 is not terrible.

Oh man, this is giving me ideas. I've got a big assed house that I'll pretty much have to myself. I don't know where to begin. Or even if I should. This scares me.:ROFLMAO: I shouldn't have clicked in this thread.

I still have these from the 50s and 60s from when I was a kid in Minnesota. Most (many?) came in Topps bubble gum packs. Back then, I cheered for the Milwaukee Braves and Yankees, before the Twins existed, though Bob Allison signed my baseball glove shortly after Minnesota finally got its own team and he visited one of our Babe Ruth league games. I thought about selling them a long time ago, but never did and missed their height of collectability. Lord knows what my mother threw out when I left to go to college in 1968. I stored them in a stack held together with a rubber band...

My Cam Smith signed Penguin polo got a little more valuable last weekend.

I am a big fan of retro collectibles.

My ceiling has a bunch of the 40’s thru 60’s wool baseball pennants and I collect retro mini football helmets.

I don't really have anything. I think I have a hat signed by Bobby Bowden somewhere. My wife has a brick from Fenway. I used to have some autographs when I was kid. Some former Marlins and Hurricane players that went pro lived in our neighborhood in South Florida.

Not memorabilia in the traditional sense, but for our wedding, my wife bought me a Duluth Pack duffel bag made of leather and from the teflon material salvaged from the Metrodome collapse. Lots of great sporting events happened under that roof.

Which hurricane players?

Which hurricane players?
I remember Darryl Williams since he lived a few houses down and was a DB. Couldn't tell you who else now. We did live next door to Larry Kline, but he played there back in the 50s and never went pro.

I’m on a mini helmet kick

I collect baseball cards but have been moving some of them for new equipment. Mainly NYY rookies and autos.
