Great writeup @ddec - would be very curious to do a side by side comparison between the R and existing ZXi sets to understand how the alloy change affects feel. Neither model is prob for me, but I appreciate Srixon trying to better cover the market.

I have no doubt they will pack a punch. The ZXi4 I thought was a better overall iron than the 5 when I gamed them this season.

Z-alloy vs i-alloy?? I may have just blanked on it in the write up so my apologies if I did.

The sole thickness looks…. Thicc

Not my category of irons, but these do look good. Very good.

This is freaking exciting!

These look fantastic in hand and are going to turn a lot of heads

Srixon is right at the top when it comes to making a good looking iron. No doubt these will perform well.

Great write up @ddec i can’t wait to see these in person. They look really classy. If they feel as good as they look, it might be time for a new set of irons!

Good write up @ddec!! These sound like a lot of fun. Curious about the HL. I think an HL iron would benefit my game a lot.

The local Srixon rep told me that Cleveland irons are going away and Srixon is taking that over

Can't wait to see and hear. They sound like a perfect addition to their impressive existing lineup.

Nice writeup @ddec Srixon always comes out with some of the best looking irons and the ZXiR lineup is no exception. Love the inclusion of the HL model, I wonder what other differences there are between the ZXiR and ZXiR HL besides just the increased topline thickness and what I assume is more loft.

It will be interesting to see if any better players look at the long irons here as possible top end mixed sets.

Great write up @ddec !
I’m a huge fan of Srixon and especially their irons. I love that they are expanding into the game improvement and super game improvement categories.
What Srixon is doing with new alloys is really cool to me. I’ll be excited to see how they utilize the new I alloy going forward.

Cool tech story with i-Alloy, and cool design with consistent top lines with previous Zi release. These look very well done.

The steel mill nerd in me wants so much more info haha it’s only a matter of time before OEMs really stretch the boundaries with the materials they use and this is a great example of it.

Great write up and great Polar Express reference too lol

Wow, what a fun write-up to wake up to @ddec

This is a very exciting iron release to start the winter equipment kick-offs.

This looks to me like a move by Srixon to start getting all the great things about Srixon irons (that wonderful V sole for one thing) and to start packing them in clubs that get newer and golfers in need of some help.

Also, another new club class-specific metal man I would love to get the Cleveland/Srixon teams together in a room to just talk through how and what choices they made with these metal, because if this new alloy does the same thing for Srixon irons that Z alloy did for Cleveland wedges, it is going to to make these things feel spectacular ad perform like champs.

These would be very high on my list to get some swings in with as someone who has always felt like they were just not good enough to swing the irons in the past.

we had a story previously, that you might enjoy.

Yay! New launches!

If these are like their rtz wedges then they have a winner. Looking forward to hearing feedback on these

Srixon irons are so freaking good. Cool to read about the next iteration of them. My ZX4 MKII's are amazing and my son says they are in his bag permanently... he had his best season this past year w/ them.

Thanks for the rundown @ddec

Not shocking Srixon nailed the looks on these and seems to be filling in a couple of gaps in the lineup to cover all player profiles. I love how they kept the DNA of the ZX line and made refinements to create these new irons.

Is the website live for these yet? Link in the article didn't work.

These look better than expected. With them slotting in behind the ZXi4 as wider soles, I don’t think I would get along well with them though. I think it’s a smart move to come in with two models for those that need help, in the Srixon line.

V-Sole is very real tech, and these will surely slot in there as one of the top GI and SGI irons of 2026.
Pricing is in a good spot as well.

@ddec - might be the quip of the year with the nod to the polar express in this one. Well done sir, above and beyond the dive into the details

They look very nice and fill a gap that I think the company lacked. The new alloy being softer is something I'm curious to check out in person. I liked the way the 4's felt, though this is a different animal.
